Chapter 02
Comfort and firmness: which mattress fits you
Why this matters to you: Start with your body weight and sleep position. Use the matcher to narrow your options, then check which firmness you prefer.
Blu Sleep lists Lux Plush, Medium Plush, Medium Firm, and Lux Firm. Compare each model's stated feel with your comfort preference before choosing.
Neck: lie on your side with your usual pillow. Is your head level with your spine?
Shoulders: on your side, notice whether your bottom shoulder feels pressed.
Lower back: on your back, notice whether your lower back feels supported.
Hips: notice whether your hips feel comfortable and whether you can turn easily.
Figure 3.1: Four comfort checks when you lie on a mattress: neck, shoulders, lower back and hips.
Chapter 03
Compare the mattresses
Why this matters to you: The build helps you narrow the feel you want. Check the height and Queen price too, so the mattress fits your setup and budget.
Blu Sleep's six models use different layers, support cores, and firmness labels. Compare the builds to narrow your choice before checking fit and cost.
Start with the firmness label, then compare the listed layers with the feel you want. This narrows the choices without relying on the model name alone. Use the core and comfort layers to check whether the build fits your needs.
Next, check the height against your bed frame and the Queen price against your budget. Choose a model that fits both before you buy.

Chapter 05
How well do the mattresses hold up?
Why this matters to you: A clear dip rule helps you judge a wear claim. Check the written terms before relying on coverage.
Blu Sleep's warranty page gives a measurable wear line: at least ¾ inch of indentation. Compare a visible dip with that rule before you make a warranty claim.
Blu Sleep's product pages list different builds. Vitality Flex Hybrid combines VisCopper, CopperGel latex, and pocket coils. Vitality Balance pairs VisCopper and CopperGel latex with a BLU AirPod™ HD Core. These details show what sits under the surface. They describe construction, not which bed will wear better. Choose by the listed build, not an assumption about wear.
What to watch for, and when:
After repair or replacement: Blu Sleep's warranty page says coverage continues from the original purchase date. A repair does not restart the stated coverage period.
Who owns Blu Sleep: Founded in 2006, the company identifies Alex Ciccolella and Elizabeth Dell’Accio as co-owners. Blu Sleep Products Inc. is the registered owner of the BLU SLEEP trademark.
Where sources disagree
Warranty periods differ: Blu Sleep's warranty page lists a 10-year limited warranty. Its Terms of Service says direct online mattress purchases have a 15 year limited warranty for manufacturing defects. Check which period covers your purchase.
Chapter 06
Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees
Why this matters to you:Choose your return path before ordering: an exchange and a refund have different costs.
Blu Sleep gives mattress buyers 90 nights, and a full refund deducts a $99 return processing fee. Check the return rules before you order.
Refunds go to your original payment method.

What do the warranties cover?
Why this matters to you: Warranty terms decide whether a problem gets coverage and what service costs you. Check the base rules before setup so your bed is ready for a claim.
Blu Sleep offers a 10-year limited warranty. Check whether the mattress meets the sag and base rules, and what you would pay if it needs service.
Sag claims need at least ¾ inch of indentation. Compare the mattress dip with that cutoff.
A box spring must be new and bought with the mattress. Keep proof of purchase.
After repair or replacement, the original purchase date still applies.
Warranty length: 10-year limited warranty
Coverage over time: After repair or replacement, coverage is not renewed or extended. It continues from the original purchase date.
Dip depth rule: At least ¾ inch of indentation
What voids it or is not covered: Improper support voids coverage. Keep the original store receipt and warranty. Products sold by unauthorized resellers are excluded.
Who pays shipping on a claim: The purchaser pays transportation costs. Repairs also carry a handling cost for the purchaser.

Customer reviews and complaints
Why this matters to you: Star ratings come from different review pools. Read each pool on its own before using the stars to judge a mattress.
Blu Sleep's site lists 191 reviews; Trustpilot lists 131 reviews, and both were checked on 2026-10-15. Amazon's Bio Aloe Pillow page lists 20 reviews, checked on 2026-10-15.
How we read the reviews

We recorded each page's displayed rating and review count.
We noted the praise or complaint shown on each page.

Reported praise and concerns:
Comfort and support lead the praise on Blu Sleep's site; Trustpilot praise also names materials.

Chapter 10
What are the mattresses made of?
Why this matters to you: The materials shape feel, cooling, and support. Check each layer and safety label to see what sits under you and what each claim covers.
Blu Sleep's six mattresses use different mixes of foam, latex, support cores, and coils. The layers, covers, cooling claims, and safety labels show what sits under the cover and what each one covers.
Blu Sleep describes its Sleep Cool Technology as breathable, heat-dissipating materials in foams and covers that absorb body heat. It says U.S. mattress purchases include fire-retardant material under U.S. safety rules.
The labels and law below cover different things. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 checks textiles, CertiPUR-US® checks foam, and Proposition 65 sets warning rules for significant chemical exposures. Read each by its scope.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
All six core models in this review
Tests textiles for harmful substances. Class 1 has the strictest limits; the label covers textiles, not the full mattress.
CertiPUR-US®
Blu Sleep says its foams are CERTI-PUR.
Tests flexible polyurethane foam for emissions, content, and durability. It does not certify full mattress product lines.
Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986
Blu Sleep's general claim about its mattresses and pillows
Requires warnings for significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. It is a law, not a mattress test.
What these labels do and don't prove
A marketing seal is not the same as a published lab test. Check the scope of each label before using it to judge the whole mattress.
Our safety page explains law tags, foam and fabric labels, and what each one means.
Chapter 11
Where can you try and buy the mattresses?
Why this matters to you: Retailer purchases follow the store’s return policy, so check those terms before buying there.
Blu Sleep sells online and through approved retailers.
Where it sells: Online and through approved retailers
