The best mattress stores in and near Plainfield, Illinois

Updated October 18, 2026 · 25 stores, each checked against its own website

The best mattress stores in and near Plainfield are Sandman Sleep, Naperville / Aurora, Shorewood Store and Mattress Firm Naperville. We rank stores by how many mattress brands you can try in person, then by how many of their delivery, old-bed removal and return policies they post, counting one location per chain. We checked 25 stores within 10 miles of central Plainfield, and no store pays to be listed.

  1. Sandman Sleep, Naperville / Aurora: 16 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Helix and WinkBeds. Aurora, 8.8 mi, open Sunday; delivery and return terms not listed, so call to ask.
  2. Shorewood Store: 9 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster and Sealy. Shorewood, 7.8 mi, open Sunday; delivery and return terms not listed, so call to ask.
  3. Mattress Firm Naperville: 7 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster and Sealy. Naperville, 8.5 mi, open Sunday; old-bed removal offered, publishes a return policy.

A few minutes on a showroom bed will not tell you how it feels after a month at home. Pick a bed you trust from a store whose exchange and return policy you can live with: 13 of the 25 stores here post a policy that lets you return a bed, so read the fees and time limits before you buy.
