Pure Talalay Bliss was Talalay Global's all-Talalay latex mattress brand. Latex International in Shelton, CT makes the material. Eclipse International licensees built and sold the beds from 2017 to 2018. Five beds ran 8 to 13 inches tall at about $2,199 to $6,699. You got a 15-year non-prorated warranty, but no published sleep trial. Talalay Global's 2019 Chapter 11 ended the line. The brand's site, talalaybliss.com, is a parked GoDaddy page as of September 2026. You'll mostly find leftover dealer stock today.
Good fit: shoppers who want a 100% Talalay latex bed with no coils, memory foam or fiber quilting in the build (the brand's own claim is that it does not dilute Talalay with fibers, quilting or foam); allergy-sensitive sleepers (Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I certified Talalay and fabrics, five-stage fresh water rinsing to reduce latex proteins, naturally mold, mildew and dust-mite resistant, inherently antibacterial and antifungal, water-based adhesives instead of solvent adhesives); side sleepers and plush lovers (Beautiful rates plushness 8 of 10, World's Best Bed 10 of 10); back and stomach sleepers who want firm (Pamper rates 2 of 10); couples wanting motion isolation without a coil unit (each Talalay cell absorbs pressure independently per the parent company's FAQ); adjustable-base owners (all-latex, flexible 8 to 13 inch builds); buyers who value US manufacturing (all Talalay made by Talalay Global in Shelton, CT) and a written 15-year non-prorated warranty with a 1 inch indentation limit; shoppers who prefer to try a bed in a dealer showroom.
Poor fit: online shoppers, because the brand never sold mattresses direct and the site is now a parking page; anyone who wants a sleep trial, free returns or a money-back guarantee, none of which the brand published; heavy sleepers who want coil or hybrid support; bargain hunters, since the beds listed from $2,199 and ran past $6,600; shoppers who need organic GOTS or GOLS certified construction (that positioning went to Eclipse's later Natural Dreams Pure Talalay line); buyers outside a licensee dealer's territory, because distribution was regional through Eclipse licensees; anyone who needs a currently supported, warranty-backed brand with published specs, since Pure Talalay Bliss is dormant and the official domain is parked as of Sept 2026.

Chapter 02
Comfort and firmness: which mattress fits you
Why this matters to you: Feel names are the brand's words, not measurements. Use them to shortlist two or three beds, then let your body decide.
Match the plushness number to your sleeping position. Pamper (firm, 2 of 10): stomach sleepers and back sleepers who want a flat, firm Talalay surface, heavy sleepers who want the least sink, and shoppers who plan to add a removable Custom Fit topper for their own softer feel. Nature (4 of 10): back sleepers and combination sleepers who want support with a little cushioning, plus couples who want a firm-but-not-boards-firm all-latex bed.
Nutrition (6 of 10): the middle of the range, best for back sleepers and side sleepers who want pressure relief without a deep sink, and for people who found pure firm latex too hard. Beautiful (8 of 10): side sleepers, shoulder and hip pain sufferers and plush-mattress lovers who still want latex push-back rather than memory-foam sink.
World's Best Bed (10 of 10): the plushest option for strict side sleepers and anyone who wants the softest possible all-latex surface, remembering it comes only in Twin XL and larger.
Across the line, latex suits hot sleepers (the brand claims Talalay breathes up to 7 times better than other latex or foam, and the parent company's 2026 third-party testing claims about twice the airflow of Dunlop and up to five times that of polyfoam or memory foam), allergy-sensitive sleepers, and couples wanting motion isolation without coils; Talalay is also fast-responding, so it is a poor match for sleepers who specifically want the slow, contouring sink of memory foam, and the brand itself warns that people with a diagnosed latex allergy should weigh the covered-latex construction before buying.

Which Pure Talalay Bliss feel fits you?
Weight chart not yet researched
Weight and sleep position can change how a bed feels. We have not yet checked whether Pure Talalay Bliss publishes a fit chart by body weight, so use a trial, where one is offered, to test the bed the way you sleep at home.
Neck: on your side, your nose should line up with the middle of your chest, not tip up or down.
Shoulders: your bottom shoulder should sink in. Tingling or a numb arm means the bed is too firm for you.
Lower back: on your back, slide a flat hand under your waist. A big gap means too firm; no room at all can mean too soft.
Hips: ask someone to look from the side. Hips lower than shoulders means the bed is too soft for you.
Figure 2.1: Four checks to run in a store, lying still in the position you sleep in most. The store test in chapter 11 says how long to lie on each bed.
Chapter 03
Compare the mattresses
Why this matters to you: Models from one brand can differ in feel, height and layers. Match the feel label and height to how you sleep before you compare prices.
Pure Talalay Bliss lists 5 models. Feel names are the brand's labels.
Five mattresses, all built the same way: layers of Pure Talalay Bliss latex glued with water-based adhesive, a washable removable cover, no coils and no polyurethane foam. Prices are the archived official list from January 2021 (Twin to King or Cal King) and are no longer published anywhere we could find.
Pamper (8 in, plushness 2 of 10, firm): 2 in ActiveFusion phase-change Talalay comfort over a 6 in Talalay support core; the firmest and cheapest bed, pitched by the brand at people who like a firm sleep surface or who want a firm base to customize with one of its removable toppers; Twin $2,199, Twin XL $2,299, Full $3,099, Queen $3,399, King $4,399, Cal King $4,399.
Nature (10 in, plushness 4, medium-firm): 2 in ActiveFusion Talalay comfort plus 2 in Talalay pressure-relief over 6 in Talalay support; the brand describes a firm base layer topped by a luxurious layer that reduces pressure, the safe middle pick for back sleepers and combination sleepers; Twin $2,699, Twin XL $2,899, Full $3,499, Queen $3,899, King $4,899, Cal King $4,899.
Nutrition (11 in, plushness 6, medium): 3 in ActiveFusion plus 2 in pressure-relief Talalay over 6 in support; with the firmer base layer the brand calls it a more European feel that balances support and pressure relief; best all-rounder for back and side sleepers; Twin $3,099, Twin XL $3,199, Full $3,999, Queen $4,199, King $5,299, Cal King $5,299.
Beautiful (12 in, plushness 8, plush): 3 in ActiveFusion plus 3 in pressure-relief Talalay over 6 in support; the brand's signature cloud-like surface design for side sleepers and pressure-point sensitive sleepers; Twin $3,399, Twin XL $3,499, Full $4,399, Queen $4,699, King $5,799, Cal King $5,799.
World's Best Bed (13 in, plushness 10, ultra-plush, the flagship): 4 in carbon-infused Talalay comfort, which the brand says acts as a purifier to keep the mattress fresh, plus 3 in pressure-relief Talalay over 6 in support; the plushest and tallest build and the only model not offered in Twin or Full; Twin XL $3,899, Queen $5,199, King $6,699, Cal King $6,699.
Accessories sold by Talalay Global rather than by Eclipse: Custom Fit removable Talalay toppers in 2 in Plush, 3 in Plush, 3 in Firm and 2 in Firm (the brand positions them as adding pillow-top comfort without the breakdown, guaranteed 15 years with no more than a 1 inch impression) and Talalay Active, Talalay Down and Talalay Copper latex pillows.
Current retail state: the New Bedford, MA dealer page that still lists the brand (worleybeds.com/products/pure-talalay-bliss/) shows category copy about Talalay durability but no model names or prices when we checked in Sept 2026; plus a pillow and a topper, so at least one independent retailer still references the brand without published pricing.

Mattress prices and value
Why this matters to you: A starting price can rise with size, base and delivery. Get the full price for your size in writing before you choose.
Archived official list prices from January 2021, mattress only: Pamper $2,199 Twin, $2,299 Twin XL, $3,099 Full, $3,399 Queen, $4,399 King, $4,399 Cal King; Nature $2,699 / $2,899 / $3,499 / $3,899 / $4,899 / $4,899; Nutrition $3,099 / $3,199 / $3,999 / $4,199 / $5,299 / $5,299; Beautiful $3,399 / $3,499 / $4,399 / $4,699 / $5,799 / $5,799; World's Best Bed no Twin or Full, Twin XL $3,899, Queen $5,199, King $6,699, Cal King $6,699.
That is a $2,199 to $6,699 band, with every size step adding $100 to $400 and the flagship charging a $1,000 to $1,300 premium over the firmest bed. No current prices are published: the brand site is parked, the remaining dealer page carries no pricing, and our September 2026 sweep of that dealer recorded Pure Talalay Bliss as quote-only.
Value argument: you are paying for an unusually pure all-latex build (no coils, no polyurethane foam, no fiber quilting), US-made Talalay from the only Talalay producer in North America, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I certification, and a 15-year non-prorated warranty, at prices that undercut the brand's own later Eclipse successor positioning (Natural Dreams Pure Talalay was announced at $1,999 to $7,999 retail).
The catch is that there is no trial, no return window and no live brand behind the warranty today, so the price has to be weighed against buying a currently supported all-latex bed from SleepEZ, Sleep on Latex, Avocado, PlushBeds or European Sleep Works, several of which publish specs, trials and returns. Dealer markdowns, floor-model discounts and financing were dealer-specific and are Not published as of Sept 2026.

Chapter 05
How well do the mattresses hold up?
Why this matters to you: A mattress is a long buy. Lean on the written warranty and real owner reports to judge how it will last.
The published durability case is strong, and it is the brand's central claim: a 15-year non-prorated warranty on every mattress with a 1 inch indentation limit, Talalay described as three times more resilient than Dunlop latex because its round cell structure does not break down under compression the way Dunlop's snowflake structure does, and the official warranty page noting that the beds were tested for durability by Stork Testing in Minneapolis, the largest mattress testing lab, with both roller and Cornell tests and results the brand says were consistently significantly better than industry standards for coil and non-coil mattresses.
The same page claims stories of Talalay mattresses lasting 20 and 30 years, and toppers carry their own 15-year guarantee against more than a 1 inch impression. Independent evidence is thin: no lab data, teardown or long-term owner study specific to this brand was found, and the parent company's most recent third-party durability-adjacent testing we could find (August 2026) covers airflow, not sag.
Practical caveats: the brand's own FAQ says to replace the old foundation when buying a new mattress and recommends an Ironwood Bedframes foundation, warns never to fold a mattress side to side and never to store it compressed or rolled, and notes the 1 inch indentation threshold as the warranty trigger.
Because the brand has been dormant since 2019-2020 and the parent is now business-to-business only, long-term support depends on the retailer and on Talalay Global's continued existence; the company is investing in a second US factory in North Carolina slated to open by the end of Q1 2027, which supports the material supply chain even though the mattress brand itself is inactive.

Chapter 06
Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees
Why this matters to you: Feel is hard to judge in a store or in a week. Know your exit plan and its cost before you pay.
Not published as of Sept 2026. The archived official site had no sleep-trial page, no return or exchange policy and no refund language: our full-text check of the archived FAQ, About, Warranty, Retailers and all five mattress pages returned zero uses of trial, return or refund, and the only comfort-related guarantee language on the site was the 15-year warranty against impressions over 1 inch.
Because Pure Talalay Bliss sold through Eclipse licensees and independent dealers, any try-before-you-buy window, comfort exchange or restocking fee was set by the store, not the brand, and no dealer terms specific to the brand were found in this research. Factory-direct sales existed only for pillows and toppers under a Terms of sales page that we could not find.
Purchasers of a used or remaining-stock Pure Talalay Bliss mattress therefore have no brand-backed trial, return or exchange right today, and should get any dealer comfort guarantee in writing before buying, along with confirmation of who honors the warranty now that the brand is dormant and the domain is parked.

Chapter 07
Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal
Why this matters to you: Delivery terms decide your first week with the bed. Confirm the date, setup and old-bed removal before you pay.
Thin and mostly undocumented, because the brand sold through dealers rather than direct. The archived official About page states that each mattress is custom made by hand and delivered to your door within a week, which is the only brand-level delivery promise we could find.
Nothing was published on delivery fees, white-glove setup, adjustable-base setup, stair carries, disposal of an old mattress or box spring, or delivery windows: no shipping page existed on the archived site, and the remaining dealer pages carry no policy either.
In practice these services came from the independent retailer or Eclipse licensee that made and delivered the bed, so terms vary store by store and are Not published as of Sept 2026 at brand level. The New Bedford, MA dealer that still lists the brand delivers locally only and publishes no fee schedule for its carried-brand beds.
Pillows and toppers were the exception: Talalay Global sold those itself and its older site footer pointed to a Terms of sales for pillows and toppers page, which we could not find, so its shipping and return terms could not be verified.
Buyers inheriting or buying a used Pure Talalay Bliss bed should note the brand's own care rules: keep the mattress flat, never fold it side to side, never store it compressed or rolled, and replace an old foundation rather than reusing it.
Typical wait: Within a week

Chapter 08
Terms checked on the brand's site · recheck before you buy
What do the warranties cover?
Why this matters to you: A warranty is only as good as its terms. Read the written terms and use a supported base, because the wrong frame can end coverage.
The brand's clearest published promise. Mattresses: 15-year warranty, non-prorated, with a 1 inch indentation limit. Toppers: 15 years on the Talalay, non-prorated, plus a separate 2-year warranty on the zippered cover.
The archived warranty page adds that the beds were roller tested and Cornell tested by Stork Testing in Minneapolis with results the brand says were consistently significantly better than industry standards, and tells owners that if an impression greater than 1 inch appears they should contact the retailer, since the brand says its design does not have the body-impression problems prevalent in other builds.
Claim mechanics: keep the original sales receipt and do not remove the law label, because those are the two items required to start a claim; the brand also asked owners to register the product and download the warranty form, and it recommends an Ironwood Bedframes foundation, calling the frame critical to the warranty.
What is not covered or documented: no published exclusions list, no proration schedule (it is non-prorated by definition), no statement on who administers claims today, and no confirmation that a dormant brand can still supply replacement product.
Because Eclipse International took over mattress manufacturing and distribution under the 2018 agreement while Talalay Global sold pillows and toppers directly, warranty administration in practice ran through the selling retailer, and that remains the practical route for any claim on an existing Pure Talalay Bliss mattress.
Covered when the dip is deeper than 1 inch, measured with nobody on the bed.
Strip the bed down to the mattress and wait a few hours so the top layers can recover.
Lay a straight edge (a broom handle or long level) across the dip, resting on the flat parts.

Chapter 09
Review counts checked on each site · they change daily
Customer reviews and complaints
Why this matters to you: Star ratings depend on who posts and where. Read the low-star reviews for patterns, not just the average.
Not published as of Sept 2026 at brand level. We could find no Pure Talalay Bliss page or rating on GoodBed, no review page on Sleep Like The Dead (its brand directory covers direct-to-consumer names only), no results on SiteJabber for the brand, no Trustpilot or BBB brand profile, and no third-party mattress-review coverage of the line on Mattress Clarity, Sleepopolis, NapLab or The Sleep Judge.
The archived official site carried no customer-review section, no testimonials page and no star ratings, and its only consumer-facing quality claims were its own (Oeko-Tex Class I, 15-year warranty, Stork Testing results, 20-to-30-year mattress anecdotes).
What exists instead is retailer-level feedback: reviews of stores that sold the brand, such as the New Bedford, MA dealer whose own profile carries store ratings and testimonials, and general Talalay-latex commentary from owners of other Talalay beds, which is not brand-specific evidence.
On complaints, trade coverage of the brand's end is the main record: Talalay Global's corporate entity, Latex Foam International, filed Chapter 11 in August 2019 and confirmed a plan of liquidation in November 2020, which dissolved the Eclipse agreement behind Pure Talalay Bliss, and we found no consumer-complaint pattern, recall, lawsuit or regulatory action tied to the mattress line in that coverage.
Treat the absence of reviews as a data gap, not a clean record: buyers today would be buying a discontinued-brand bed whose warranty claims run through the retailer and the surviving Talalay Global business.

Chapter 10
What are the mattresses made of?
Why this matters to you: Layer names say little without numbers. Ask what is inside your exact model, layer by layer.
All five mattresses are built from Talalay latex only: a 6 in Talalay support core plus Talalay comfort layers, with no coils, no memory foam, no polyurethane foam and no fiber or quilting layers above the latex in any model.
The top comfort layer is ActiveFusion Talalay, a phase-change Talalay that the brand says helps keep a warmer sleeper slightly cooler and a cooler sleeper slightly warmer by moving heat to or away from the body through the night; the World's Best Bed instead uses a 4 in carbon-infused Talalay top layer, carbon being used as a purifier to keep the mattress fresh.
Layers are bonded with water-based adhesives; the archived FAQ claims a Pure Talalay Bliss bed uses 6 non-toxic chemicals plus 3 natural materials (fats, hevea brasiliensis milk and water) versus the 48 toxic chemicals it attributes to solvent-based mattress adhesives.
Covers are a washable, removable Luxury Wave of Comfort fabric in a 450 to 480 gram weight, described by the brand as the heaviest gram weight used across a full line in the industry and made of 20 to 45 percent viscose (itself about 50 percent natural), 1 to 2 percent spandex and 52 to 56 percent rayon, with three layers of fabric plus a fire-retardant layer between the sleeper and the latex.
All Talalay is manufactured by Talalay Global in Shelton, CT, and both the latex and the fabrics are certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I, the baby-safe class; the process uses a five-stage fresh water rinse to wash out latex proteins, and the parent company describes its formulations as Talalay Classic (a natural and synthetic blend) and a 100% natural, FSC-certified option.
The brand's own framing is that a real Talalay bed should be judged on the law label, because many mattresses sold as latex contain less than 25 percent latex; no independent chemical analysis of a Pure Talalay Bliss mattress was found for this review.

Chapter 11
Where can you try and buy the mattresses?
Why this matters to you: Where you buy sets the price, the trial and who handles problems. Check the seller's terms, not just the brand's.
Distribution was always wholesale and regional. Talalay Global signed Eclipse International (North Brunswick, NJ) to manufacture and distribute the Bliss mattress line, announced September 2018, with 12 licensees producing to start (10 US, 2 Canada) and a stated plan to extend production across Eclipse's 65-licensee global network; Eclipse controlled mattress manufacturing and distribution while Talalay Global sold pillows and toppers itself.
Named licensees in trade coverage include Paramount Sleep for Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and West Virginia (October 2018) and Pleasant Mattress of Fresno, California, which listed Pure Talalay Bliss among its core brands in June 2020. The official site ran only a postal-code dealer locator, with no dealer list we could archive.
Today: the brand's own domain is a GoDaddy parking page, Talalay Global's current site says it operates solely with business clients and markets only the PureTalalay ingredient brand, pillows, mattress cores, toppers and cushions, and Eclipse no longer mentions Bliss on its site (our September 2026 search of eclipsemattress.com for bliss returned zero results; its current latex bed is the EmBrace Sleep Latex Mattress, the line Eclipse described in 2020 as an exact replica of the Pure Bliss line it had been producing).
The one retailer we could confirm still listing the brand in September 2026 is Worleybeds Factory Outlet, 197 Popes Island, New Bedford, MA 02740, phone (508) 997-6791, whose site keeps a Pure Talalay Bliss category page under Products with no models or prices; that store is in-person and local-delivery only.
Practical advice: to try an all-Talalay bed, look for a latex-focused independent retailer or Eclipse licensee in your region, and ask specifically whether they can still order Pure Talalay Bliss or are selling the successor EmBrace Pure Talalay or Natural Dreams Pure Talalay beds.

Chapter 12
Pure Talalay Bliss vs. other mattress brands
Why this matters to you: A fair comparison needs the same facts for both beds. Line up price, trial and warranty for each one.
Versus other all-latex brands: Pure Talalay Bliss was the purest expression of Talalay in the US market because its parent, Talalay Global, is the only Talalay latex producer in North America and supplies many competing brands, so the same material shows up in beds from Berkeley Ergonomics, European Sleep Works, Avocado, PlushBeds, Nest Bedding, WinkBed EcoCloud and others, usually in thinner layers over coils or Dunlop.
Versus Dunlop latex brands (Sleep on Latex, SleepEZ's Dunlop options, Earthfoam, Savvy Rest's Dunlop layers), the brand's pitch is Talalay's breathable structure (up to 7 times better airflow per the brand), 33 percent better pressure relief, three-times-better resilience and consistent feel top to bottom, claims that trace to Talalay Global rather than to independent testing.
Versus direct-to-consumer latex hybrids (Avocado, Saatva Latex Hybrid, PlushBeds Botanical Bliss, Birch, WinkBed EcoCloud), Pure Talalay Bliss loses badly on shopping experience, with no sleep trial, no free returns, no published pricing today and a dormant brand, but it wins on purity (no coils, no poly foam) and on a 15-year non-prorated warranty at a time when many competitors offer 10 to 25 years with more exclusions.
Versus memory foam and Tempur-Pedic, the brand's own FAQ argues you sleep on Talalay rather than in it, that Talalay is fast-responding, temperature neutral, hypoallergenic and does not off-gas, which is directionally consistent with independent latex-versus-foam comparisons.
Versus its own corporate family, the closest modern equivalents are Eclipse's EmBrace Pure Talalay (described in 2020 as an exact replica of the Pure Bliss line) and Natural Dreams Pure Talalay ($1,999 to $7,999, 100% natural Talalay with GOTS organic wool and cotton and WAVE-TECH zoning), which together show what the brand would likely have become had Talalay Global not filed Chapter 11 in 2019.

How we research and report
This page is an early draft built from our research sheet for Pure Talalay Bliss. We read the brand's own pages and public listings, and we do not test mattresses ourselves. Fields marked "Not yet researched" are still being checked.
We started with the official site, and because talalaybliss.com is now a GoDaddy parking page we worked from older versions of it: the last live official site at puretalalaybliss.com, using the January 2021 version for the homepage, About, Products, Warranty, Retailers and all five mattress pages, and older 2020 versions where the January 2021 one pointed elsewhere.
We confirmed the brand's shutdown timeline with older versions of the site (live site in 2020 and January 2021, an under-construction notice in April 2023, and a parking page on talalaybliss.com by December 2021) and with the parent company's current site, talalayglobal.com, including its About, PureTalalay, Products and FAQ pages.
We then used trade press for the business history and channel facts: BedTimes Magazine articles from September 2018 (Eclipse licensees making Bliss beds), October 2018 (Paramount license), October 2019 (the Chapter 11 filing and the Pure Talalay Bliss brand being part of it), June 2020 (Pleasant Mattress brand lineup) and November 2020 (Eclipse replacing Pure Bliss with EmBrace Pure Talalay and launching Natural Dreams Pure Talalay), plus August 2026 latex coverage for the parent's current status.
We checked current retail availability on the live Worleybeds page that still carries the brand and searched Eclipse's current site. We checked for customer ratings on GoodBed, Sleep Like The Dead, SiteJabber, Trustpilot, NapLab, Sleepopolis, Mattress Clarity and The Sleep Judge, and we searched independent latex retailers for leftover brand listings.
No mattress was physically tested, no lab data exists for this brand, and anything the brand did not publish is labelled Not published as of Sept 2026 rather than estimated; no sponsored content was used.

Buying and policies
Can I still buy a Pure Talalay Bliss mattress?
Only through leftover dealer stock or a dealer that can still order it. The brand site is a parked GoDaddy page, Talalay Global now sells business-to-business only, and the one retailer we confirmed in September 2026 keeps a Pure Talalay Bliss category page with no models or prices.
What did the beds cost?
Archived January 2021 list prices ran $2,199 for a Twin Pamper to $6,699 for a King or Cal King World's Best Bed, and nothing is published today, so treat all current pricing as quote-only.
How long is the warranty and who honors it?
Fifteen years, non-prorated, with a 1 inch indentation limit on mattresses, and 15 years on Talalay toppers plus 2 years on the zippered cover; claims start with the retailer and require the original receipt and the intact law label.
Is there a sleep trial or free returns?
No. The brand published no trial, return, exchange or refund terms, so everything depends on the selling dealer.
What is the difference between these beds and other latex mattresses?
These were 100% Talalay latex with no coils or polyurethane foam, made by Talalay Global in Shelton, CT and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I certified, with an ActiveFusion phase-change top layer on most models and a carbon-infused top layer on the flagship.
What replaced it?
Eclipse International replaced the line it was making with EmBrace Pure Talalay, described in 2020 as an exact replica of the Pure Bliss line, and launched the all-natural Natural Dreams Pure Talalay collection at $1,999 to $7,999 retail.
