The 30-Second Verdict: Quick Summary

Symphony Sleep is the home brand of Innovative Sleep Technologies, a wholesale adjustable-base maker near St. Louis, launched in 2022 and co-owned by Germany's Meise Moebel. You can't buy direct. You buy through retailers. Beyond bases, it adds just three 12-inch copper-infused hybrid mattresses: Firm, Medium and Plush. The brand doesn't publish prices, trials or returns (checked September 2026). It suits you best if you want a mattress and adjustable base from one brand and prefer to try them in a store.

Chapter 01

Is Symphony Sleep the best mattress for you?

Best for you if you want a mattress engineered to live on an adjustable base and you are buying the whole sleep system - base plus mattress plus accessories - from one brand; if you prefer to buy in a store where you can lie on the bed and watch the base articulate; if three straightforward feels (firm, medium, plush) in one 12-inch hybrid construction is enough choice for you; if you want a firm, supportive 12-inch hybrid with a copper-and-gel cooling foam story; if you are shopping for a care or mobility setup, where the brand's Hi-Low Lift Kit, SleepSafe under-bed safe and Elevation Kit are genuine differentiators; or if a 10-year limited mattress warranty and seven sizes including Split Head Queen and Split Head King matter to you.

Not the best for you if you want to buy direct from the brand website, need to see a price before you make a trip, want a sleep trial with free returns on a mattress you have actually slept on, want a bed-in-a-box shipped to your door, want a deep lineup with multiple firmness levels and split-firmness or pillow-top options, want published foam densities, coil counts or a firmness scale, or want the reassurance of hundreds of consumer reviews - none of that exists for this brand as of Sept 2026.

Also not best if you have no Symphony Sleep dealer within reach, because there is no store locator and no direct channel.

Chapter 02

Comfort and firmness: which mattress fits you

Why this matters to you: Feel names are the brand's words, not measurements. Use them to shortlist two or three beds, then let your body decide.

Match the feel to your position, then match the size to your base. Firm: back sleepers, stomach sleepers, heavier sleepers and anyone who wants the surface to stay flat and supportive; it is the closest thing in the line to a traditional firm innerspring feel. Medium: couples, combination sleepers and first-time hybrid buyers; it is the middle setting and the least risky choice without a store test.

Plush: side sleepers, shoulder and hip pressure sufferers and anyone who wants a softer, more contouring surface.

If you snore, have acid reflux or want the elevated-sleep positioning the brand markets, remember the mattress is only half the system - the incline comes from the base and accessories, notably the patented Elevation Kit, which the company says elevates the whole bed up to about 12 degrees so the head sits above the feet, the Hi-Low Lift Kit for assisted in-home care, SleepSense Bluetooth sleep tracking with anti-snore auto-adjust, and SleepSafe, a fingerprint-locked drawer that mounts under the base.

If you sleep on a split adjustable system, order Split Head Queen or Split Head King rather than a standard size. If you need a mattress for a platform bed instead of an adjustable base, the brand also sells a Classic Platform Frame and a Premier Hybrid Platform Base rated to 2,000 pounds.

Weight chart not yet researched

Weight and sleep position can change how a bed feels. We have not yet checked whether Symphony Sleep publishes a fit chart by body weight, so use a trial, where one is offered, to test the bed the way you sleep at home.

Four alignment checkpoints against a neutral posture line Neck Shoulders Lower back Hips level with spine sink in, no pinch no gap below no sag Straight spine line
  1. Neck: on your side, your nose should line up with the middle of your chest, not tip up or down.
  2. Shoulders: your bottom shoulder should sink in. Tingling or a numb arm means the bed is too firm for you.
  3. Lower back: on your back, slide a flat hand under your waist. A big gap means too firm; no room at all can mean too soft.
  4. Hips: ask someone to look from the side. Hips lower than shoulders means the bed is too soft for you.

Chapter 03

Compare the mattresses

Why this matters to you: Models from one brand can differ in feel, height and layers. Match the feel label and height to how you sleep before you compare prices.

Symphony Sleep lists 3 models. Feel names are the brand's labels.

Three mattresses, all 12 inches tall, all built on the same announced six-layer recipe, all offered in the same seven sizes (Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, Split Head Queen, King, Split Head King) and all covered by the same 10-year limited warranty - the only difference the brand states is feel.

12-inch Firm Hybrid Collection, described by the brand as ideal for everyone who values support and stability while they sleep: the copper-infused premium firm feel, and the pick for back and stomach sleepers, heavier sleepers and anyone who wants a stable, non-sinking hybrid.

12-inch Medium Hybrid Collection, described as ideal for everyone who values a balance between support and comfort: the middle of the line and the safest choice if you cannot test in a store, and the obvious pick for couples with mixed preferences. 12-inch Plush Hybrid Collection, described as ideal for everyone who values comfort and a softer sleeping surface: the pick for side sleepers and pressure-point sensitive buyers.

Shared construction on all three, exactly as listed by the brand: premium cool-to-touch cover; copper and TruGel-infused elite memory foam; gentle support transition foam; individually wrapped steel coils; a Synergy support system; and body support base foam. Copper infusion is the brand's cooling claim - the mattress is said to stay cool to the touch and hold that temperature overnight.

Because no firmness scale, no ILD or density figures and no coil count are published, the three feels cannot be quantified and there is no split-firmness, pillow-top or latex alternative in the range. Split Head Queen and Split Head King exist so one mattress can sit on a split-head adjustable base; there is no separate hybrid-plus or value tier.

Mattress prices and value

Why this matters to you: A starting price can rise with size, base and delivery. Get the full price for your size in writing before you choose.

Not published as of Sept 2026. Symphony Sleep publishes no prices, no MSRP, no MAP and no price list anywhere on symphonysleep.com; there is no cart, no checkout and no direct-to-consumer channel, and no retailer listing showing a price for any of the three 12-inch Hybrid Collection mattresses was found as of Sept 2026.

Pricing is therefore set entirely by the dealer, and the brand's public value story is aimed at retailers rather than consumers: trade coverage quotes the company claiming its base packaging returns up to 50 cents for every dollar spent on inbound and outbound freight and storage, including 50 percent more king ES200 bases per container, 42 percent more king ES500 and 36 percent more queen ES600 than the previous line, plus easier in-home handling.

Retail price points for the brand's adjustable bases are also largely unpublished; one online dealer, Rest Right Mattress, lists the Symphony Sleep Premier 400E and 500E bases and adds model-specific options, but the brand itself publishes none. Practical takeaway: treat this brand as price-on-application through a dealer, ask for the mattress and base as a bundle, and expect the dealer - not Symphony Sleep - to define what value you get.

Chapter 05

How well do the mattresses hold up?

Why this matters to you: A mattress is a long buy. Lean on the written warranty and real owner reports to judge how it will last.

Not published as of Sept 2026 for any laboratory or independent durability result - there is no published foam density, no coil spec, no compression or sag testing and no third-party durability review of this mattress line.

The only durability signals that exist are structural: the mattresses carry a 10-year limited warranty under which years one through five are repaired or replaced at the company's option without charge and years six through ten are repaired first, with replacement pro-rated so the buyer pays the current mattress price minus 20 percent of that price for each remaining year; the warranty excludes indentations of 1.5 inches or less, deterioration of the quilt top, and normal softening of the memory foam, and it requires the bed to sit on a rigid support with one or more center legs, which means a cheap flexible frame can void coverage; it is not transferable, and commercial use is limited to 90 days.

Note that the mattress line is recent - the brand previewed mattresses alongside its 2024 lineup - so long-term field data does not exist yet. The brand's adjustable bases are the more established product and are rated to 800 pounds total (650 pounds in queen) with German-engineered motors and ISTA-3A certification on non-king sizes, and the Premier Hybrid Platform Base is rated to 2,000 pounds and ISTA 3A certified.

Chapter 06

Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees

Why this matters to you: Feel is hard to judge in a store or in a week. Know your exit plan and its cost before you pay.

Not published as of Sept 2026. Symphony Sleep publishes no sleep trial, no return window, no exchange policy, no restocking fee schedule and no return shipping terms for the mattresses or the bases, and because the brand does not sell direct there is no direct return route at all.

The only published after-sale remedy is the limited warranty, which is defect-based and explicitly excludes comfort preference, indentations of 1.5 inches or less and normal foam softening, so a mattress you simply do not like is not a warranty matter. In practice, any sleep trial, comfort return, exchange or fee is whatever the selling retailer offers; retailer terms in this category vary widely and are not set by Symphony Sleep.

Verify the store's return window, who pays return freight, whether a restocking fee applies, whether the mattress must be unopened or can be slept on, and what happens to the adjustable base if you return the mattress, and get it on the receipt before you buy.

Chapter 07

Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal

Why this matters to you: Delivery terms decide your first week with the bed. Confirm the date, setup and old-bed removal before you pay.

Not published as of Sept 2026 as a brand policy. Symphony Sleep publishes no shipping page, no delivery tiers, no setup service, no haul-away or old-mattress removal program and no in-home service terms.

Its public delivery story is a wholesale one: the base lineup was explicitly engineered for freight and storage savings, with smaller cubic dimensions, more units per container and per truck, better UPS rates and easier product handling during in-home installations, and the company has since added a South Carolina distribution warehouse to shorten shipping times to retailers.

For the consumer, that means delivery, unpacking, assembly, setup and any old-mattress removal are defined by the individual retailer, not by Symphony Sleep; the manufacturer's own warranty document states that it makes no reimbursement for inconvenience, removal, installation or setup time and holds no responsibility for in-home service, telling buyers to contact their dealer for in-home service terms.

Ask the dealer in writing what is included - free delivery, room of choice, assembly, base-and-mattress setup, and whether they take the old mattress away - before you buy.

Typical wait: Not published

What do the warranties cover?

Why this matters to you: A warranty is only as good as its terms. Read the written terms and use a supported base, because the wrong frame can end coverage.

Mattresses are covered by a ten-year limited warranty titled Innovative Sleep Technologies (Symphony Sleep) Ten Year Limited Warranty, covering the memory foam topper and poly foam base against defects in workmanship and material. Years one through five: repair or replacement at the company's option with no charge for the defective mattress.

Years six through ten: the company attempts repair first, and if replacement is needed the buyer pays all related charges not exceeding the current mattress price minus a credit of 20 percent of the current mattress price for each remaining year; if the model is discontinued a comparable mattress is substituted on the same pro-rated formula.

Excluded: the mattress cover and zipper; indentations of 1.5 inches or less; deterioration of the quilt top; physical abuse or damage including burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage and stains; consequential and incidental damages such as loss of time, loss of use and rental charges; the normal decrease in slow recovery and increase in softness of the viscoelastic foam; and commercial settings such as dormitories, hotels and rentals, where coverage drops to 90 days.

Coverage requires a rigid cross-support frame or bed rails with one or more center legs, is not transferable, and terminates if the original buyer sells or transfers the product. Claims need name, phone, address, email, the store where purchased and a copy of the invoice or receipt; the warranty is made by Innovative Sleep Technologies, not by retailers or distributors, and some states limit exclusions.

Adjustable bases carry their own terms: 10-year limited on ES500, ES600 and ES700, 5-year limited on ES200, 3-year limited on S100N, on the ST800 upholstered bed and on the Premier Hybrid Platform Base, and a 1-year limited warranty on the Classic Platform Frame.

Review counts checked on each site · they change daily

Customer reviews and complaints

Why this matters to you: Star ratings depend on who posts and where. Read the low-star reviews for patterns, not just the average.

No brand-level consumer review platform was found for Symphony Sleep as of Sept 2026: there is no retrievable Trustpilot profile, the Sitejabber/SmartCustomer search returns no results for the brand, and no Amazon or Wayfair listings for the mattresses were found - Amazon search returned no Symphony Sleep products at all., so their absence is noted rather than proven.

Consumer discussion that does exist is on the Mattress Underground forum, and it is about the adjustable bases rather than the mattresses: Symphony Sleep bases are grouped with mainstream mid-to-high-end adjustable bases from Malouf, Leggett and Platt, Rize and Ergomotion and described as impressive, with one retailer/trusted member noting the Symphony Sleep base was impressive but flagging concern about grid support for a thinner mattress; in a separate thread a consumer searching for a true full-surface incline found only two options, the Symphony Sleep Premier 400E and the Rize Remedy III.

Trade press carries retailer praise rather than consumer complaints - Metro Mattress president Dino Cifelli is quoted saying the quality is top-notch and that Symphony Sleep reps train in the field, and Old Brick Furniture and Mattress vice president Brian Motyl is quoted calling it a very high-quality product and a great brand addition.

No consumer complaints, warranty disputes, sagging reports or service failures specific to Symphony Sleep mattresses were found, and no star rating or review count exists for the mattress line.

Chapter 10

What are the mattresses made of?

Why this matters to you: Layer names say little without numbers. Ask what is inside your exact model, layer by layer.

All three mattresses share one announced build, listed by the brand in this order: premium cool-to-touch cover; individually wrapped steel coils; copper and TruGel-infused elite memory foam; gentle support transition foam; a Synergy support system; and body support base foam, all in a 12-inch profile. Copper infusion is the headline material claim and is said to provide a cooling sensation and to hold that temperature overnight.

The official warranty document describes the covered mattress components as the memory foam topper and the poly foam base.

Not published as of Sept 2026: foam densities or ILDs, coil gauge, coil count, coil height, edge support construction, cover fiber content, whether the cover is removable or washable, CertiPUR-US or any other foam certification, fiberglass-free statements, flame-retardant details, organic or natural content, and the identity of the mattress factory - the company states only that it has ownership in factories and uses a strategic manufacturing network across Asia, Europe and Central America, and the mattresses are not attributed to a named plant.

Chapter 11

Where can you try and buy the mattresses?

Why this matters to you: Where you buy sets the price, the trial and who handles problems. Check the seller's terms, not just the brand's.

Dealer-only, and try-before-you-buy is the norm. Symphony Sleep does not sell to consumers and there is no store locator on symphonysleep.com, so you buy the mattress and base through an authorized furniture or mattress retailer.

Retailers publicly documented as carrying Symphony Sleep products: Metro Mattress, which runs 40 stores across New York and offers the full lineup of Symphony Sleep bases plus the Elevation Kit and Hi-Low Lift Kit; Old Brick Furniture and Mattress, with eight stores in the Northeast, carrying the ES200, ES500 and ES600 bases; Diamond Mattress, the Rancho Dominguez, California manufacturer that partnered with Symphony Sleep in Oct 2025 and offers its retail partners the ES200, ES500 and ES600 plus the Elevation Kit and Hi-Low Lift Kit; and Rest Right Mattress, an online and store retailer that lists the Symphony Sleep Premier 400E and 500E adjustable beds.

The brand also shows at trade markets rather than consumer stores, including a Las Vegas Market showroom at C-1507 and, from Spring 2026, High Point Market at Centers of High Point on Hamilton, H-131, where it meets mattress and furniture retailers.

Because the mattress line is newer and narrower than the base business, the practical route is to call a stocking dealer, ask specifically for the 12-inch Hybrid Collection in firm, medium or plush, and confirm they have it on the floor before travelling.

Chapter 12

Symphony Sleep vs. other mattress brands

Why this matters to you: A fair comparison needs the same facts for both beds. Line up price, trial and warranty for each one.

Symphony Sleep is not a consumer mattress brand in the usual sense: it is a wholesale adjustable-base manufacturer that added three 12-inch hybrid mattresses, so the honest comparison is against two different groups.

Against DTC and retail mattress brands such as Saatva, DreamCloud, Nectar or Tempur-Pedic, Symphony Sleep loses on consumer convenience - no direct sales, no published prices, no sleep trial, no free returns, no bed-in-a-box, only three models and one feel-neutral construction, and no consumer review base - but competes on system integration, because the mattress is designed to sit on the brand's own adjustable bases and to use split-head sizing, and on care-oriented accessories that most mattress brands do not offer.

Against adjustable base rivals such as Leggett and Platt, Ergomotion, Rize, Malouf and the former Glideaway line, Symphony Sleep competes on engineering and merchandising: a third-motor elevated-sleep concept the company calls the only base that lets side, back and stomach sleepers sleep at an angle, the patented Elevation Kit claimed to lift the whole bed about 12 degrees, the Hi-Low Lift Kit for assisted care, SonicSleep audio-sonic massage plus under-bed speakers on the ES700, SleepSense sleep tracking with anti-snore auto-adjust, SleepSafe fingerprint safe, 800-pound capacity (650 pounds queen), German-engineered motors, ISTA-3A certification on non-king sizes, and a 2,000-pound Premier Hybrid Platform Base.

Ownership and supply chain are international - co-owned by Germany's Meise Moebel with factory ownership and a manufacturing network across Asia, Europe and Central America - and the company is growing fast for its size, moving its headquarters to Lake St. Louis, Missouri and opening an Anderson, South Carolina warehouse in Sept 2026, debuting at High Point Market in Spring 2026 and partnering with Diamond Mattress in Oct 2025.

The trade-offs versus those rivals are scale, brand recognition and the fact that its mattress line is unproven and nearly invisible to consumers, with no published pricing or performance data.

More brand reviews to compare: Sure2Sleep, Sweetnight, Symbol Mattress, Tampa Mattress Makers, Tempflow, Tempur Sealy Hospitality.

Competitor details reflect published prices and specs on the date shown. Mattress brands may update prices and trial terms over time.

How we research and report

This page is an early draft built from our research sheet for Symphony Sleep. We read the brand's own pages and public listings, and we do not test mattresses ourselves. Fields marked "Not yet researched" are still being checked.

Not published as of Sept 2026 - Symphony Sleep publishes no review methodology, no testing protocol, no sourcing statement and no editorial standards, The brand publishes no review process; this is how we compiled this page. Sources were ranked official site first, then retailers and trade press, then third-party and consumer discussion.

Official-site evidence came from symphonysleep.com: the mattress collection and all three 12-inch Hybrid Collection pages with their size lists, warranty length and layer-by-layer bullet lists; all adjustable base pages for the 2024 and 2023 lines with incline angles, weight capacities, sizes, warranty lengths and included accessories; the accessory, bedding and bed support system pages; the mission, contact and app pages; and the downloadable warranty PDFs, including the mattress ten-year limited warranty, whose terms were read directly from the PDF.

Retailer evidence came from Diamond Mattress product pages for the Symphony Sleep ES200, ES500 and ES600, and from Rest Right Mattress listings for the Premier 400E and 500E adjustable beds.

Trade evidence came from the BedTimes Magazine Symphony Sleep archive from 2023 through Sept 2026, including the company launch story naming John Schulte and Sven Knabe and the Meise Moebel co-ownership, the retailer testimonial story naming Metro Mattress and Old Brick Furniture and Mattress, the Diamond Mattress partnership story, the freight and storage savings story and the Sept 2026 headquarters and warehouse story, plus an STL.news profile of the company and a BedTimes feature on personalized sleep systems.

Consumer evidence came from Mattress Underground forum search results and the individual posts behind them. Limits to disclose:, so Google, Bing web results, DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Mojeek and the Wayback Machine could not be used, and Walmart, Wayfair and BBB returned bot challenges, meaning the absence of retailer listings and complaints is reported as not found rather than proven absent.

No hands-on testing was performed, no mattress was measured or slept on, and no price was quoted because none is published.; anything unverifiable is marked Not published as of Sept 2026 rather than estimated. Checks were run Sept 25, 2026.

Three, all 12 inches tall and all sharing one construction - the 12-inch Firm Hybrid Collection, the 12-inch Medium Hybrid Collection and the 12-inch Plush Hybrid Collection - each in seven sizes: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, Split Head Queen, King and Split Head King.

What is inside them?

The brand lists a premium cool-to-touch cover, individually wrapped steel coils, copper and TruGel-infused elite memory foam, gentle support transition foam, a Synergy support system and body support base foam, with copper infusion as the cooling claim. Foam densities, coil counts and certifications are not published.

Is there a sleep trial or free return?

Not published as of Sept 2026. There is no brand trial, return, exchange or fee policy and no direct-sales return route; any trial or comfort return comes from the retailer, while the ten-year limited warranty covers defects only and excludes sagging of 1.5 inches or less and normal foam softening.

What warranty do I get, and what else does the brand sell?

Mattresses carry a 10-year limited warranty, non-transferable, with years 1-5 free repair or replacement and years 6-10 pro-rated. Adjustable bases range from a 3-year warranty on the S100N, ST800 and Premier Hybrid Platform Base and 5 years on the ES200 up to 10 years on the ES500, ES600 and ES700, with a 1-year warranty on the Classic Platform Frame; accessories include the Elevation Kit, Hi-Low Lift Kit, SleepSense sleep tracker, SleepSafe under-bed safe, USB upgrade, side rails and headboard brackets, plus pillows and a Copper Comfort Sleep Set.

Does Symphony Sleep sell mattresses directly to consumers?

No. Symphony Sleep is the residential brand of Innovative Sleep Technologies, a wholesale manufacturer, and symphonysleep.com has no cart, no checkout and no store locator. You buy through an authorized retailer such as Metro Mattress, Old Brick Furniture and Mattress, a Diamond Mattress retail partner, or an online dealer like Rest Right Mattress.
