Brand-reported: both mattresses carry a 10-year limited warranty covering sagging deeper than 1.5 in at the center, and Vaya says the foams will not sag or develop soft spots and need no flipping or rotating; no foam densities or durability testing are published.
Independent: NapLab scored the all-foam 8.80/10 overall, top 37% of mattresses tested, with response time 10/10, cooling 9.0, edge support 8.7, motion transfer 9.1, pressure relief 8.0 and off-gassing 9.2, and the hybrid 8.6/10; eachnight scored them 8.7 and 8.8 with cooling 8/10 and flagged motion transfer and cooling as relative weak spots.

Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees
Why this matters to you: Feel is hard to judge in a store or in a week. Know your exit plan and its cost before you pay.
100-night Pure Comfort Promise trial that starts on delivery; customers must keep the mattress at least 30 nights before returning and Vaya recommends 60. Returns are free with a full refund in the lower 48 - call (888) 430-6608 and FedEx pickup is arranged; no packaging needs to be kept. Free or discounted gift items must be returned with the mattress or their full retail value is deducted from the refund.
The pillow and platform bed are final sale, non-returnable and excluded from the trial. For a wrong size or a pre-shipment change of mind, call support to modify or cancel the order, and an unopened wrong-size mattress is collected and swapped. Trial and free return shipping do not extend to Alaska, Hawaii or international orders, where freight-forwarding costs are the customer's.
No restocking fee is published, and refunds can take longer once an order has shipped.

Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal
Why this matters to you: Delivery terms decide your first week with the bed. Confirm the date, setup and old-bed removal before you pay.
Free FedEx curbside delivery within the lower 48; orders leave the facility in 1-7 business days and arrive 1-5 business days later, with no signature required. Both mattresses ship compressed in a 19 x 19 x 42.5 in box and expand in 4-6 hours, up to 24 hours to fully expand; the pillow ships compressed in a 7 x 7 x 17 in box in 2-10 business days.
Alaska, Hawaii and international orders need a customer-arranged and customer-paid freight forwarder. The platform bed ships in 3-5 business days and the adjustable base in 1-3 business days with 5-7 day delivery. There is no white-glove or in-home setup: the platform bed assembles in about five minutes without tools and the adjustable base is also tool-free.
Old-mattress haul-away is offered only in California - a free pickup within 30 days under AB-187 - and nowhere else; warranty replacements exclude haul-away as well.

What do the warranties cover?
Why this matters to you: A warranty is only as good as its terms. Read the written terms and use a supported base, because the wrong frame can end coverage.
Vaya Mattress and Vaya Hybrid: 10-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship plus sagging deeper than 1.5 in at the center, with corners and edges excluded; the cover zipper is covered but rips from handling or wear are not. The remedy is repair or replacement at Vaya's discretion, using a comparable model if yours is discontinued, and customers may owe labor and shipping; the defective mattress is not hauled away.
Claims need the original purchaser, proof of purchase and an intact law tag, and require solid, slatted (slats no more than 2.75 in apart), platform or adjustable support, with a box spring only under 0.75 in moisture-resistant plywood.
The warranty is void if the mattress is stained, saturated, folded, bent, rolled or recompressed after setup, unsanitary, bought as final sale or closeout, or bought from an unauthorized seller, and it covers US and Canada only. Platform Bed: 1-year full-replacement warranty. Pillow: 3-year limited warranty excluding heat damage.
Adjustable base: 10 years - year one parts and labor, year two parts only, years three to ten prorated metal frame only.
Covered when the dip is deeper than 1.5 inches, measured with nobody on the bed.
Strip the bed down to the mattress and wait a few hours so the top layers can recover.
Lay a straight edge (a broom handle or long level) across the dip, resting on the flat parts.
Measure from the edge down to the deepest point, then photograph the ruler for your claim.

BBB: A+ rated but not accredited, with just 1 complaint in three years (Product Issues, filed April 2025, answered not resolved) and 0 BBB customer reviews; the complaint alleges mold on two mattresses after four months and weeks of unanswered support contacts, and Vaya responded that no law tag or photos of the uncovered mattress were supplied and the beds had already been discarded, so no defect could be verified.
Trustpilot and Sitejabber both show zero reviews. Reddit's r/Mattress mold thread (March 2025) drove most negative sentiment, and other threads note Vaya is Amerisleep's smaller sibling.
