Charter Club by Sealy is a Macy's-exclusive private-label line built by Sealy Technology LLC. That company is part of Tempur Sealy (Somnigroup International). It's sold only at Macy's. Three models are named: Blissful Bay, Mystic Bay and Restful Retreat. Sealy headlines a 10-year warranty and a 90-night trial on its own site. Macy's pages refused our checks, so prices and specs are unconfirmed. You'll like it if you shop at Macy's and want Sealy support. The catch is thin public specs.

Chapter 02
Comfort and firmness: which mattress fits you
Why this matters to you: Feel names are the brand's words, not measurements. Use them to shortlist two or three beds, then let your body decide.
Side sleepers: plush pillow-top options such as Blissful Bay are typically positioned for pressure relief, but model-level firmness guidance was Not published as of Sept 2026. Back and stomach sleepers: confirm support level in store, as firmness ratings were Not published as of Sept 2026.
Hot sleepers and couples: cooling and motion-isolation claims for this line were Not published as of Sept 2026; test in store and confirm coil and foam details with Macy's.

Which Charter Club by Sealy feel fits you?
Weight chart not yet researched
Weight and sleep position can change how a bed feels. We have not yet checked whether Charter Club by Sealy publishes a fit chart by body weight, so use a trial, where one is offered, to test the bed the way you sleep at home.
Neck: on your side, your nose should line up with the middle of your chest, not tip up or down.
Shoulders: your bottom shoulder should sink in. Tingling or a numb arm means the bed is too firm for you.
Lower back: on your back, slide a flat hand under your waist. A big gap means too firm; no room at all can mean too soft.
Hips: ask someone to look from the side. Hips lower than shoulders means the bed is too soft for you.
Figure 2.1: Four checks to run in a store, lying still in the position you sleep in most. The store test in chapter 11 says how long to lie on each bed.
Chapter 03
Compare the mattresses
Why this matters to you: Models from one brand can differ in feel, height and layers. Match the feel label and height to how you sleep before you compare prices.
Charter Club by Sealy lists 3 models. Feel names are the brand's labels.
Blissful Bay (15.5-inch plush pillow-top collection, exclusively at Macy's; height and plush pillow-top feel per the Macy's product title; coil count, foam layers, firmness scale and prices were Not published as of Sept 2026 because Macy's returned Access Denied to automated checks)
Mystic Bay (named model in this Macy's-exclusive Sealy line; positioning, construction, sizes and prices were Not published as of Sept 2026)
Restful Retreat (named model in this Macy's-exclusive Sealy line; positioning, construction, sizes and prices were Not published as of Sept 2026). Relationship note: Charter Club is Macy's private home label; by Sealy means designed or built by Sealy Technology LLC for Macy's, not a Sealy.com core line.

Why this matters to you: A starting price can rise with size, base and delivery. Get the full price for your size in writing before you choose.
The brand does not publish model-level or size-level prices (checked September 2026). Macy's product pages refused our automated checks with an Access Denied message. Confirm live prices, promos and Macy's card offers at macys.com or at 1-800-289-8229.

Chapter 05
How well do the mattresses hold up?
Why this matters to you: A mattress is a long buy. Lean on the written warranty and real owner reports to judge how it will last.
Sealy headlines a 10-year warranty and states its mattresses are engineered to exceed industry testing standards, per sealy.com; line-specific sag-depth terms, exclusions and claim steps for Charter Club by Sealy are not published as of Sept 2026. No independent long-term durability testing for these exclusive models was published as of Sept 2026.
Brand-reported versus independent results cannot be separated until model terms are verified with Macy's or Sealy.

Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees
Why this matters to you: Feel is hard to judge in a store or in a week. Know your exit plan and its cost before you pay.
Sealy.com advertises a 90-night trial, described as a risk-free promise with every mattress purchase on its direct channel; whether Macy's honors the same trial on Charter Club exclusives was Not published as of Sept 2026. Macy's mattress return window, exchange mechanics, restocking or pickup fees for these models were Not published as of Sept 2026 because Macy's policy pages returned Access Denied.

Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal
Why this matters to you: Delivery terms decide your first week with the bed. Confirm the date, setup and old-bed removal before you pay.
Macy's mattress delivery, white-glove setup, haul-away and old-mattress removal terms were Not published as of Sept 2026 because Macy's help and product pages returned Access Denied to automated checks. Sealy.com advertises free delivery and at-home setup on its own direct channel, which does not necessarily apply to Macy's-exclusive sales. Confirm method, cost, speed and removal options at Macy's checkout or with the store.
Frame and base requirements for these models were Not published as of Sept 2026.

Chapter 08
Terms checked on the brand's site · recheck before you buy
What do the warranties cover?
Why this matters to you: A warranty is only as good as its terms. Read the written terms and use a supported base, because the wrong frame can end coverage.
Sealy headlines a 10-year warranty, described as sleep worry-free for a full decade, with a File a Warranty Claim portal and Warranty Information page on sealy.com. Line-specific coverage, sag thresholds, exclusions (foundation, stains, comfort preference, misuse) and the claim process for Charter Club by Sealy were Not published as of Sept 2026.
Confirm whether claims run through Macy's, Sealy, or both, and keep proof of purchase and foundation records.

Strip the bed down to the mattress and wait a few hours so the top layers can recover.
Lay a straight edge (a broom handle or long level) across the dip, resting on the flat parts.

Review counts checked on each site · they change daily
Customer reviews and complaints
Why this matters to you: Star ratings depend on who posts and where. Read the low-star reviews for patterns, not just the average.
We could not confirm line-specific ratings as of Sept 2026, so star counts and review text are not reported. A GoodBed Sealy overview covers the Sealy Posturepedic Elite and Naturals families and never mentions Charter Club, so no line-specific score can be reported from it. Third-party scores (Google, BBB, Sleep Foundation, RTINGS) for Charter Club by Sealy were Not published as of Sept 2026; general Sealy themes only, not this line.

Chapter 10
What are the mattresses made of?
Why this matters to you: Layer names say little without numbers. Ask what is inside your exact model, layer by layer.
Brand-level construction: Sealy describes Posturepedic support with targeted coil systems developed with orthopedic specialists, combining springs and foam in hybrids, per sealy.com. Model-level layer stacks, coil counts, foam densities, cover fabrics, heights beyond the 15.5-inch Blissful Bay title, and certifications such as CertiPUR-US for this Charter Club line were Not published as of Sept 2026. No cutaway diagrams are published.

Chapter 11
Where can you try and buy the mattresses?
Why this matters to you: Where you buy sets the price, the trial and who handles problems. Check the seller's terms, not just the brand's.
Exclusively at Macy's: macys.com and Macy's stores, plus Macy's phone sales at 1-800-289-8229. These models are Macy's-exclusive per the product title, so availability on sealy.com or other retailers was Not published as of Sept 2026. Sibling context: Sealy Technology LLC (Tempur Sealy/Somnigroup) also makes Sealy Posturepedic, Stearns and Foster and Bassett lines sold through other retailers.

Chapter 12
Charter Club by Sealy vs. other mattress brands
Why this matters to you: A fair comparison needs the same facts for both beds. Line up price, trial and warranty for each one.
Versus Sealy Posturepedic core (sealy.com): the core line offers comparable Sealy coil support with a public 10-year warranty and 90-night trial, while Charter Club trades national comparability for Macy's-exclusive styling and promos. Versus Macy's Hotel Collection: both are Macy's exclusives, so choice comes down to in-store feel and promo pricing.
Versus Serta and Beautyrest: all sell exclusive retail variants, but rivals publish more specs; Charter Club's edge is Macy's test lies and card offers, its loss is thin verifiable specs.
Competitor details reflect published prices and specs on the date shown. Mattress brands may update prices and trial terms over time.
Chapter 13
How we research and report
This page is an early draft built from our research sheet for Charter Club by Sealy. We read the brand's own pages and public listings, and we do not test mattresses ourselves. Fields marked "Not yet researched" are still being checked.
Researched Sept 2026: Macy's product and help URLs returned Access Denied (You don't have access to this page) to automated checks, so model specs, prices, ratings, delivery and return terms are recorded as Not published as of Sept 2026 rather than filled. Sealy facts above come from sealy.com and the Sealy Corporation encyclopedia entry (Tempur-Pedic acquisition, Trinity NC base).
