The 30-Second Verdict: Quick Summary

Lull is a small line of four memory foam beds with a long trial and a clear sag rule. A Queen costs from $799 (list $2,283) for the Original to $1,699 (list $4,855) for the Premium Luxe Hybrid. The trial is 365 nights, and a return costs a fee.

Want the best outside score? According to NapLab, the Premium Luxe Hybrid scores 8.83 / 10, and the Original scores 8.15 / 10. The gap costs you more money and more height.

We do not blend scores, because each site tests its own way. We do not test beds ourselves.

Key Strengths
  • A long trial. The home trial runs 365 nights, and the brand asks for at least 30 nights before a return.
  • A stated sag rule. The brand says: "Sag greater than 1.5 inches is a defect". You can measure it yourself.
  • Four outside scores on the Original. NapLab scored it, and three other sites scored a bed they call the Lull Mattress, which we read as the Original. Chapter one lists them.
Good to Know
  • Returns carry a fee. The brand says: "Processing Fees estimated at 10% of the retail price of your mattress". Chapter six has the full steps.
  • The list price is not what you pay. Each bed shows a sale price beside a much higher list price. We read them on Sep 28, 2026, so check again.
  • The brand does not name a fiberglass-free build. Its Terms page says some beds may use a fire sock with glass fibers. Chapter ten explains what to ask.
Chapter 01

Is Lull the best mattress for you?

Three things decide this page: which of the four beds fits your budget, what outside sites scored, and how the trial and warranty work. Lull sells direct from its own site.

Outside review scores
Review sites checked: NapLab, Sleep Foundation, Mattress Clarity and Sleepopolis. Their scores: 2025 to 2026. Model they tested: Lull Mattress all-foam. Each site tests in its own way, so read each row on its own.

Lull suits shoppers who want a long trial and a sale price. Outside scores are good, and they run from 8.15 / 10 to 8.83 / 10 on NapLab. Check the return fee first, because it applies even when you use the whole trial.

8.83 / 10
Lull Luxe Premium Hybrid

This is NapLab's score for the top model. The table below lists all four NapLab scores.

8.6 / 10

This is Sleep Foundation's score for the Lull Mattress, which we read as the Original.

4.2 / 5
Lull Mattress

This is Mattress Clarity's score for the Lull Mattress. Each site uses its own scale.

When Lull makes sense
  • You want to spend less: the Original has the lowest Queen price here, at $799 (list $2,283).
  • You want a bed with springs: the Luxe Hybrid adds pocket coils, and a Queen costs $1,399 (list $3,998).
  • You want a long trial: the brand's mattress trial runs 365 nights.
When Another Mattress May Suit You Better
  • You want a higher NapLab score: the Premium Luxe Hybrid, at 8.83 / 10.
  • You want the tallest bed: the Premium Luxe Hybrid is 15 inches tall.
  • You want all foam with more layers than the Original: the Premium Lull.

Why we don't average the scores

Each site tests its own way, on its own scale. We show each score beside the bed it tested and never blend them into one number. We do not test beds ourselves.

Use the dates and sources shown with each result. Prices, models and policies can change.
Chapter 02

Comfort and firmness: which mattress fits you

Why this matters to you: Feel labels can mislead, and your own body is the best test. Lie in your usual sleep position before you decide.

Lull publishes no fit chart by body weight, so we have no weight-based pick to give you. It does describe feel and sleep position for each bed.

The brand's feel guide runs from Medium to Medium-Firm. Its product pages sometimes name a different label for the same bed, so treat feel as a range, not a fixed number. On its Original page the brand says the bed gives back sleepers stable support, and side sleepers get pressure relief.

For stomach sleepers with lower back pain, the brand points to the Luxe Hybrid, whose coil support is firmer. Chapter six shows how the trial works, so you can test a feel at home.

  1. Neck: on your side, your nose should line up with the middle of your chest, not tip up or down.
  2. Shoulders: your bottom shoulder should sink in. Tingling or a numb arm means the bed is too firm for you.
  3. Lower back: on your back, slide a flat hand under your waist. A big gap means too firm; no room at all can mean too soft.
  4. Hips: ask someone to look from the side. Hips lower than shoulders means the bed is too soft for you.

Chapter 03

Compare the mattresses

Why this matters to you: The four beds differ in build, height and price. Choose foam or springs first, then compare height and price.

The table lists each model side by side: build, height, feel and Queen price. Two beds are all foam and two add pocket coils.

The Original and the Premium Lull are memory foam beds with no coils. The Luxe Hybrid and the Premium Luxe Hybrid add pocket coils under the foam. Read height and price together: the range runs from 10 inches to 15 inches. The brand does not publish foam weight or firmness scores for every bed, and the table marks each gap as not published.

The Original is Lull's all-foam bed and the brand's best seller, in its own words. It is 10 inches tall. The brand lists a quilted memory foam cover, a gel-infused memory foam layer, a mid-layer of high-resilience foam and a high-density foam base. The brand's product page calls the feel Medium, and its feel guide says Medium-Firm, 6/10 on the brand scale.

A Queen costs $799 (list $2,283). According to NapLab, it scores 8.15 / 10. According to Sleep Foundation, its Lull Mattress earns 8.6 / 10. Mattress Clarity gives its Lull Mattress 4.2 / 5, and Sleepopolis gives 4.3 / 5. We read that bed as the Original. We do not blend these.

The catch: the brand publishes no foam weight for this bed, and its Terms page says some beds may use a fire sock with glass fibers.

Best For

  • You want a foam bed with no coils.
  • You want the lowest Queen price of the four.
  • You want several outside reviews to read.

Consider Instead If

  • You want more foam layers: the Premium Lull, at $1,099 (list $3,140).
  • You want coils under the foam: the Luxe Hybrid.

The Premium Lull is a taller, all-foam step up. It is 12 inches tall. The brand lists a quilted memory foam cover, a gel-infused memory foam layer and a proprietary high-resilience foam layer over a high-density core. The brand says the gel layer is thicker than the Original's.

A Queen costs $1,099 (list $3,140). According to NapLab, it scores 8.27 / 10, and NapLab scored the Original at 8.15 / 10.

Keep in mind: the brand publishes no foam weight for this bed, and only NapLab has scored it.

Best For

  • You want all foam with thicker comfort layers.
  • You want a bed taller than the Original without springs.

Consider Instead If

  • You want a lower price: the Original, at $799 (list $2,283).
  • You want coils: the Luxe Hybrid, at $1,399 (list $3,998).

The Luxe Hybrid is the first bed with springs in this line. It is 13 inches tall. The brand lists individually pocketed coils, 609 in a Queen, inside a foam-encased coil system. Comfort layers sit on top, with a stretch-knit rayon-blend cover.

A Queen costs $1,399 (list $3,998). According to NapLab, it scores 8.73 / 10. The brand also points stomach sleepers to this bed for its firmer coil support.

One gap: only NapLab has scored this bed, and the brand publishes no foam weight for it.

Best For

  • You want coils under memory foam.
  • You sleep on your stomach and want firmer support, per the brand.

Consider Instead If

  • You want a lower price: the Original, at $799 (list $2,283).
  • You want a higher NapLab score: the Premium Luxe Hybrid.

The Premium Luxe Hybrid is the tallest and highest-priced bed here. It is 15 inches tall. The brand lists a foam-encased coil system with individually wrapped pocket springs under gel-bead memory foam, with a tufted stretch-knit cover.

A Queen costs $1,699 (list $4,855). According to NapLab, it scores 8.83 / 10, the highest of the four NapLab results on this page.

The trade-off: the brand's page prints no visible coil count, and the coil figure in our table comes from data behind the page. Ask Lull to confirm it.

Best For

  • You want the tallest Lull, with pocket coils.
  • You want the bed with the top NapLab score of the four.

Consider Instead If

  • You want a lower price: the Luxe Hybrid, at $1,399 (list $3,998).

Mattress prices and value

Why this matters to you: Price changes a lot by model, and size changes it too. Check the price for your own size before you compare.

Every price here is a sale price, read on Sep 28, 2026. The much higher list price sits beside it.

The size grid shows the Original. A Twin costs $499 on sale against a list price of $1,426. A Queen costs $799 against $2,283, and a King costs $1,099 against $3,140. Each bed lists a large discount, so judge the sale price, not the list price.

Across the four beds, the Original has the lowest Queen price and the Premium Luxe Hybrid has the highest. This page holds no earlier price for any model, so we cannot say whether a sale price is a good deal.

Chapter 05

How well do the mattresses hold up?

Why this matters to you: A mattress is a long buy. The sag rule and the base rule are the sourced clues to how long a Lull may hold up.

This page holds no lifespan estimate or wear test for any Lull bed, so the warranty terms are the best guide to durability.

The brand's warranty says: "Sag greater than 1.5 inches is a defect". It also says: "Mattress must be supported by a foundation or bed base with a proper frame".

The brand lists layer heights and foam types, but it does not publish foam weight, foam firmness or a lifespan for any model. No page we read ties the build to years of use. The warranty chapter shows how a sag is judged.

What to watch for, and when:

  • First month: judge the bed after it settles. The brand asks you to give it 30 nights before you request a return.
  • During the trial: the trial is 365 nights, so check for body dips while you can still return the bed.
  • Any time under warranty: measure a dip before you file a claim. A dip counts as a defect when it is deeper than 1.5 inches.
  • Every night: keep the bed on a proper base, or the warranty may not cover a dip.

Where sources disagree

  • Feel labels differ: the brand's product pages and its feel guide give different labels for the same beds. We show the range and do not pick one.
  • The fire barrier claims differ: the model pages say "No chemical flame retardants", while the Terms page says some beds may use a fire sock with glass fibers.
  • Sites score on different scales: NapLab and Sleep Foundation use ten points, and Mattress Clarity and Sleepopolis use five.
Chapter 06

Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees

Why this matters to you: Return rules decide what a home trial really costs. Check the wait and the fee before you order.

The trial runs 365 nights. The fee it lists is "Processing Fees estimated at 10% of the retail price of your mattress".

A return cannot start right away. The brand says: "Give the mattress at least 30 nights before requesting a return". After that, "Return within 365 nights for a full refund less processing fees". The brand does not publish what happens after the trial window, so ask before you rely on a late return.

Not covered by the trial: Third-party retailer purchases, accessories, resold or gifted items, only one mattress per household

Figure 6.1: The trial in three dates and three prices. Put the last date in your calendar the day the bed arrives.

The fee comes out of your refund. The brand also lists what is not eligible: Third-party retailer purchases, accessories, resold or gifted items, only one mattress per household. It sets a condition too: Mattress must be clean and undamaged; refund processed when pickup or disposal confirmed. Keep the bed clean and whole.

The brand does not publish swap or exchange terms on the pages we read. Ask Lull before you plan on trading one bed for another.

Check the terms for your seller and order date before buying from Lull.
Chapter 07

Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal

Why this matters to you: A mattress is heavy and bulky. Check the shipping rule for your address before you order.

Lull says: "Ships in 1-2 business days to the contiguous US". Shipping is free in the contiguous US, and Alaska and Hawaii pay a small fee.

The brand says: "Free standard shipping in the contiguous US; Alaska or Hawaii charge a small fee". The shipping charge is not refunded on a return, per the Terms page. The price you compare is the sale price of the bed itself: $799 for a Queen Original.

Typical wait: Ships in 1-2 business days to the contiguous US

  1. Order: buy on lull.com.
  2. Wait: plan for the ship window shown above.
  3. First nights: note your delivery date, because the trial starts when the bed arrives.

Chapter 08

Terms checked on the brand's site · recheck before you buy

What do the warranties cover?

Why this matters to you: A lifetime label has limits. The sag rule and the base rule decide whether a claim works.

The brand says: "Limited lifetime warranty; $75 shipping and handling fee if the claim occurs more than 10 years from the proof of original purchase" Lifetime means for the original owner, and the terms still set limits.

The warranty is for the original owner and does not transfer, per the brand's warranty page. After the first ten years, a claim carries a shipping and handling fee, as quoted above. The brand can choose repair or replacement, so ask what a claim would cost before you rely on it.

How a sag is judged: the brand says "Sag greater than 1.5 inches is a defect". Base rules matter. The brand sets a limit on the gap between slats, does not recommend a box spring, and wants a platform to support the whole bed. A wrong base can void the claim.

Measure before you call. A dip smaller than the threshold is listed as an exclusion, and the wrong base can end your coverage.

Measuring a mattress dip with a straight edge and a ruler Straight edge across the bed Dip depth Mattress, nobody lying on it

Covered when the dip is deeper than 1.5 inches, measured with nobody on the bed.

  1. Strip the bed down to the mattress and wait a few hours so the top layers can recover.
  2. Lay a straight edge (a broom handle or long level) across the dip, resting on the flat parts.
  3. Measure from the edge down to the deepest point, then photograph the ruler for your claim.

Review counts checked on each site · they change daily

Customer reviews and complaints

Why this matters to you: Star ratings depend on who runs the site and who can post. Weigh a brand's own review box differently from an open site, and read both.

Trustpilot shows 2.7 / 5 from 5 reviews, so it is a small pool. The brand's own site shows a far larger pool, and the BBB shows a different picture. The table gives each score and count.

How we read the reviews
  • We read four pools: Trustpilot, the BBB profile, the BBB reviews and the reviews on lull.com.
  • We never add the pools together. Each one counts a different group of buyers.
  • We counted scores and review totals. We did not sort reviews by cause.

The BBB profile shows grade A+ and accreditation since 2026. Its customer reviews average 1 /5 stars from 10 reviews, and it lists 21 complaints. The lull.com pool shows 4.6 of 5 Stars, and the brand runs it.

Read each platform on its own: who runs it, its rating scale, how many reviews it has, and the date we checked it.

Reported praise and concerns:

  • We did not sort reviews by cause, so this page ranks no complaints.
  • Read the low-star reviews yourself on Trustpilot and the BBB before you buy.

What are the mattresses made of?

Why this matters to you: Foam names and seals are labels until you know what they cover. Ask which fire barrier your model uses before you pay.

Lull lists its layers and cover on each model page, and the table sums them up in plain words. Its fire barrier claim needs a closer look.

The Original has a top cover of quilted open-cell memory foam. Under it sit a gel-infused memory foam layer, a mid-layer of high-resilience foam and a base of high-density foam. The brand says: "No chemical flame retardants". Its Terms page says something different: some beds use a fire retardant sock that may contain glass fibers.

Safety labels, and what each one covers

Lull names these outside seals. Here is what each one covers:

CertiPUR-US
All foams
The brand says its foams carry this seal. It covers foams only, not springs or fabric.
GREENGUARD Gold Certified
Original Lull Mattress
The brand lists this seal for the Original Lull Mattress. We did not check the certifier records.
What these labels do and don't prove

CertiPUR-US covers foams, not the whole mattress. The brand lists CertiPUR-US for "All foams". It lists GREENGUARD Gold Certified for the Original Lull Mattress.

Read your law tag

How to read the law tag in three steps

Why this matters to you: The sewn law tag is where the maker lists what is inside. Sales pages change, so your own bed's tag is the one to trust.
Law tag guide

How to read a Lull law tag

A law tag is sewn to your own mattress. We have no copy of a Lull tag, so this section says where to look, not what one says.

The three steps

1
Comfort & Support

The tag is sewn to the mattress. Match the maker's name on your tag to Lull's. Then compare the cover with the brand's list. For the Original, the brand lists a top cover of quilted open-cell memory foam.

2
Five-Layer Technology

The tag lists what fills the bed. Compare the foam names with the brand's layer list. For the Original, the brand lists gel-infused cooling memory foam and high-resilience foam.

3
Certifications

Look for the words glass fiber or silica. The brand's Terms page says some beds may use a fire sock with glass fibers, and no model page says which. If your tag names either, ask Lull which build you own.

Full law tag guide, factory code decoding, and the certificate glossary live on our shared safety page.

How to read this: the law tag, the brand's own statements, and certificates each cover different things. A spec the brand doesn't publish isn't proof it's missing; it just isn't shared.
Chapter 11

Where can you try and buy the mattresses?

Why this matters to you: Lying on a bed beats any spec. With no showrooms listed, the home trial is your test.

Lull sells direct. It says it will "skip the middlemen, salespeople, and retail markups". The brand does not publish a store list, so a showroom visit is not a sure thing.

Before you pay, ask the brand three things: the trial rules, the return fee and who picks up the bed.

The brand does not publish a store list or a store count, so we list none. If a store near you says it carries Lull, ask whether the floor model matches the one sold online.

How to test a bed in the store

  • Sleep on the bed in your usual position for the first 30 nights before you judge it.
  • Use your own pillow so the test matches your normal night.
  • Check for a body dip while you can still return the bed.
  • Compare price and feel together: a Queen Original is $799 (list $2,283), and a Queen Luxe Hybrid is $1,399 (list $3,998).

Chapter 12

Lull vs. other mattress brands

Why this matters to you: A rival helps only when it is compared on the same facts. Until we add checked rivals, use the model table in chapter three.

This page holds no rival cards for Lull yet. We list a rival only when its terms and scores are checked on the same day.

Within Lull's own line, the Original has the lowest Queen price at $799 (list $2,283). According to NapLab, the Premium Luxe Hybrid earns the highest score, 8.83 / 10, and its Queen costs $1,699 (list $4,855). Compare scores with care, because sites do not share a scale.

For foam, compare the Original with the Premium Lull at $1,099 (list $3,140). For springs, compare the Luxe Hybrid with the Premium Luxe Hybrid. The mattress trial runs 365 nights, so you can test the feel at home.

Competitor details reflect published prices and specs on the date shown. Mattress brands may update prices and trial terms over time.
Chapter 13

How we research and report

What we read for this page, when, and what stays unknown. Each number names its source.

Why this review exists: Lull sells four beds with similar names that are easy to mix up. We read the brand's pages and outside reviews, and we date each check.

We do not test beds ourselves. We report what the brand and named sites publish, and we say when a fact is not published.

How we check this page

What we check: Lull's product and policy pages, outside reviews and review sites.

Dates: we read prices and policies on Sep 28, 2026.

Proof first: a claim needs a named source. If we cannot find a fact, we say so.

No mixed scores: each test site keeps its own scale.

Stage 01 Factory

Who built the bed

The law tag card in chapter ten explains where to look. We have no Lull tag to show.

Stage 02 Test results

Outside test results

Each outside score sits beside the bed it tested in the first chapter.

Stage 03 Safety

Fire safety papers and the law tag

We read the brand's fire barrier, glass fiber and CertiPUR-US statements. We did not review fire test filings, so we cite none.

Stage 04 Pressure and motion

Outside pressure and motion tests

NapLab, Sleep Foundation, Mattress Clarity and Sleepopolis scores appear as each site gives them, on each site's own scale.

Stage 05 Reviews

Review scores, side by side

Chapter nine explains how we read the review pools.

Quick Answers

Quick Answers Before You Buy

Short answers to the questions buyers ask most, with the chapter that gives the detail.

The trial is 365 nights, and the brand lists this fee: "Processing Fees estimated at 10% of the retail price of your mattress". Chapter six has the return steps. The warranty is a limited lifetime warranty, and chapter eight explains the sag rule and the base rules.

Prices and sales change, so check again before you buy. We do not test beds ourselves, and outside scores are never blended. If a question is not answered here, the brand's own pages are the next place to look.

Safety and materials

Which safety certifications do Lull mattresses have?

The brand names two seals. It lists CertiPUR-US for "All foams". It names GREENGUARD Gold Certified for the "Original Lull Mattress". The foam seal does not cover springs or the cover.

What is inside the Lull Original?

Foam only, with no coil springs. The brand describes it as "All-foam construction". It lists a memory foam cover, a gel foam layer, a mid-layer and a high-density base. Ask which fire barrier your bed uses.

Buying and policies

How long is the Lull trial, and what does a return cost?

The mattress trial is 365 nights. The brand asks you to keep the bed for 30 nights first. It lists this fee: "Processing Fees estimated at 10% of the retail price of your mattress". It does not publish what happens after the trial window, so ask before you rely on a late return.

What does the Lull warranty cover?

It is a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner. The brand's sag rule reads: "Sag greater than 1.5 inches is a defect". Its base rule reads: "Mattress must be supported by a foundation or bed base with a proper frame". Measure any dip before you call.

How much is a Queen Lull Original?

$799 on sale, against a list price of $2,283. That is what we saw on Sep 28, 2026. Sales change, so look again before you buy. A Queen Luxe Hybrid costs $1,399 (list $3,998).

Can I try a Lull in a store before I buy?

The brand does not publish a store list. It sells direct online and says it will "skip the middlemen, salespeople, and retail markups". Your test is the home trial, so read the trial rules first.

Prices and promos checked Sep 28, 2026. Recheck before buying.
