The 30-Second Verdict: Quick Summary

Weaver Furniture is an Amish-country furniture store in Sugarcreek, Ohio. Its showroom opened in 1995. WeaverCraft is its own Ohio-made mattress line, with ten models from $1,099 to $11,998. The top model is the 17-inch WC 990 from $3,099, with wool, cashmere and Talalay latex. Beds are made to order in about 3 to 6 weeks. They come with a 60-day comfort guarantee and a 20-year warranty. You'll find published specs and policy details thin, so ask for terms in writing before you order.

Chapter 01

Is Weaver Furniture the best mattress for you?

Good fit if you want to try mattresses in person at an Amish-country showroom, want an Ohio-made made-to-order bed with flat or adjustable foundation options, prefer traditional two-sided innersprings or latex-and-pocket-coil hybrids backed by a 20-year warranty, or live within 100 miles of Sugarcreek and want free in-home delivery over $2,500.

Poor fit if you want a long sleep trial with free returns, bed-in-a-box shipping speed, published foam densities, certifications and full layer specs, or the lowest possible price; custom orders are generally non-returnable, firmness is only labeled, and product pages quote 3-6 week build times.

Chapter 02

Comfort and firmness: which mattress fits you

Why this matters to you: Feel names are the brand's words, not measurements. Use them to shortlist two or three beds, then let your body decide.

Match by the comfort labels the store publishes: side sleepers and anyone wanting a soft, pressure-relieving feel are pointed to the plush and pillowtop models - WC 990 dual pillowtop, WC 930 ultra plush, WC 290 and WC 270 pillowtops and the WC 230 plush. Back, stomach and firm-preference sleepers should look at the firm models - WC 970, WC 910, WC 210 and the firm WC 610 or WC 310 versions.

Couples wanting motion isolation: the pocket-coil hybrids WC 990, WC 970, WC 930, WC 910 and WC 600. Adjustable-base users: only the hybrid models and the WC 600 series are listed as adjustable-compatible, with Split King offered only on adjustable bases. Two-sided-coil fans and edge-support shoppers: WC 210, WC 230, WC 270 and WC 290, which the store says can be flipped and rotated for durability.

Budget shoppers: WC 300 from $1,099 and WC 600 from $1,699, or the non-WeaverCraft Sierra Sleep Peak 2.0 Bonnell from $289 (Queen $429). Firmness is as labeled by the maker and not independently measured, and the store encourages testing comfort levels in its showroom before buying.

Which Weaver Furniture feel fits you?

Weight chart not yet researched

Weight and sleep position can change how a bed feels. We have not yet checked whether Weaver Furniture publishes a fit chart by body weight, so use a trial, where one is offered, to test the bed the way you sleep at home.

Four alignment checkpoints against a neutral posture line Neck Shoulders Lower back Hips level with spine sink in, no pinch no gap below no sag Straight spine line
  1. Neck: on your side, your nose should line up with the middle of your chest, not tip up or down.
  2. Shoulders: your bottom shoulder should sink in. Tingling or a numb arm means the bed is too firm for you.
  3. Lower back: on your back, slide a flat hand under your waist. A big gap means too firm; no room at all can mean too soft.
  4. Hips: ask someone to look from the side. Hips lower than shoulders means the bed is too soft for you.
Figure 2.1: Four checks to run in a store, lying still in the position you sleep in most. The store test in chapter 11 says how long to lie on each bed.

Mattress prices and value

Why this matters to you: A starting price can rise with size, base and delivery. Get the full price for your size in writing before you choose.

Published prices run from $1,099 (WC 300 Twin, mattress only) to $11,998 (WC 990 or WC 970 Split King with the Prodigy adjustable base). Queen mattress-only prices: WC 300 $1,699; WC 600 $2,399; WC 210, WC 230 and WC 270 $2,299; WC 290 $2,899; WC 910 and WC 930 $3,299; WC 990 and WC 970 $4,399.

Upgrading from mattress-only to a standard 8-inch, low-profile 5-inch or bunkie board foundation is usually about $300 more, and adjustable-base bundles add roughly $1,000 to $3,000 depending on size and base (for example WC 930 Queen: $3,599 flat versus $4,599 Tranquility, $5,099 Clarity, $6,299 Prodigy).

Financing is advertised as no interest if paid in full within 12 months on a $1,000 minimum purchase with a 30% deposit required, while the store FAQ says a 50% deposit is typical at order; the store also says to contact them for a price-match review.

Value read: these are premium local-store prices, above the Sierra Sleep by Ashley models sold in the same showroom (Peak 2.0 Bonnell Queen $429, Plush Luxe 2.0 Queen $1,429), but they include customization, two-sided traditional-coil options and made-in-Ohio construction that boxed brands do not offer.

Chapter 05

How well do the mattresses hold up?

Why this matters to you: A mattress is a long buy. Lean on the written warranty and real owner reports to judge how it will last.

Durability evidence is brand-reported only. The maker lists a 20 Year Limited Warranty on the WC 990, WC 970, WC 930 and WC 910 and a 20 Year Warranty on the WC 210, WC 230, WC 270, WC 290 and WC 300, but publishes no sag threshold, no foam density or coil gauge data, no proration schedule and no claim statistics, and no independent durability or fatigue testing was found.

Design points the store does state: two-sided flippable construction on the WC 290, WC 270, WC 230 and WC 210, which it says increases durability through rotation and flipping, and reinforced side supports said to keep edges from sagging on the traditional-coil models; the 900-series and WC 600 are pocket-coil hybrids with foam layers, a construction style generally associated with good motion isolation, though longevity depends on unpublished foam quality.

There are no customer longevity reports published, so treat the 20-year figure as a marketing claim until the written warranty is obtained.

Chapter 06

Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees

Why this matters to you: Feel is hard to judge in a store or in a week. Know your exit plan and its cost before you pay.

The store advertises a 60 Day Comfort Guarantee on all WeaverCraft mattresses, but no terms are published online: no start date definition, no exchange or refund mechanics, no fees, no restocking charge and no return-shipping details.

The posted refund policy says exchanges and refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis, custom products such as special orders or personalized items are non-returnable, sale items and gift cards are non-returnable, and a mistake in size or fit will not invalidate an order or result in a refund.

The site FAQ adds that because custom furniture is built specifically for the buyer, custom orders are generally non-returnable except for warranty or manufacturing defects, and that orders may only be canceled before production begins. Damaged, defective or wrong items must be reported immediately on arrival by calling 330-852-2701 or emailing sales@weaverfurniture.com.

No trial fees, exchange fees or return shipping costs are published as of September 2026, so the practical path is to negotiate the guarantee terms in writing at order time.

Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal

Why this matters to you: Delivery terms decide your first week with the bed. Confirm the date, setup and old-bed removal before you pay.

Made to order: product pages state most mattresses take 3-6 weeks to build, while the store FAQ says mattresses are often available within a few weeks (Amish wood furniture is listed at 4-12 weeks and custom upholstery at 6-12 weeks).

Delivery: orders over $2,500 qualify for complimentary in-home delivery within 100 miles driving distance of the Sugarcreek store, using the store's own trucks and drivers, and local crews place furniture in the room of your choice and assemble it when necessary.

Long-distance orders can choose White Glove Delivery or Curbside Delivery, and nationwide deliveries use local companies experienced with Amish furniture; shipping is limited to the contiguous United States. Old-mattress removal: no mattress-specific policy or fee is published; the site only says to ask about furniture removal options when scheduling delivery and that availability may vary by location.

Payment: the FAQ says a 50% deposit is typically required when the order is placed, with the balance due before or at delivery.

Typical wait: 4 to 12 weeks

Chapter 08

Terms checked on the brand's site · recheck before you buy

What do the warranties cover?

Why this matters to you: A warranty is only as good as its terms. Read the written terms and use a supported base, because the wrong frame can end coverage.

Product pages list a 20 Year Limited Warranty on the WC 990 Plush Dual Pillowtop, WC 970 Firm Dual Pillowtop, WC 930 Ultra Plush and WC 910 Firm, and a 20 Year Warranty on the WC 210, WC 230, WC 270, WC 290 and WC 300.

No written terms are published: coverage details, exclusions such as staining or improper foundation use, sag thresholds, proration, transferability, who administers the warranty and the claim process are all absent from the site as of September 2026. The store FAQ only says warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and that most Amish-crafted wood furniture carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty, which does not apply to mattresses.

The ServeCo protection plans the store sells cover fabric stains, wood damage and pet accidents, not mattress structural defects. Buyers should request the actual mattress warranty document, including sag tolerance and who pays shipping on a claim, before purchase; the warranty headline is a marketing claim until then.

Measuring a mattress dip with a straight edge and a ruler Straight edge across the bed Dip depth Mattress, nobody lying on it

Covered when the dip is deeper than Not yet researched, measured with nobody on the bed.

  1. Strip the bed down to the mattress and wait a few hours so the top layers can recover.
  2. Lay a straight edge (a broom handle or long level) across the dip, resting on the flat parts.
  3. Measure from the edge down to the deepest point, then photograph the ruler for your claim.

Review counts checked on each site · they change daily

Customer reviews and complaints

Why this matters to you: Star ratings depend on who posts and where. Read the low-star reviews for patterns, not just the average.

On the official product pages the WeaverCraft line has no reviews at all: the Judge.me review widget shows no reviews yet on the WC 990 and other models as of September 2026.

The store's own homepage publishes a Google-reviews widget and its structured data carries a 4.9 out of 5 aggregate rating across 512 reviews for Weaver's Fine Furniture, but that rating is store-level (furniture, delivery and service) rather than mattress-specific, and the store does not identify the review source on the page.

No mattress-specific third-party reviews, complaint threads or expert tests for WeaverCraft were found on accessible sources as of September 2026;.

The clearest documented friction points are policy-based, not review-based: custom orders are generally non-returnable except for defects, orders can only be canceled before production, and the 60-day guarantee and warranty terms are unpublished, so shoppers should confirm both in writing before ordering.

What are the mattresses made of?

Why this matters to you: Layer names say little without numbers. Ask what is inside your exact model, layer by layer.

Published construction and materials: WC 990 and WC 970 (17 inches) use a high-loft New Zealand wool and natural Mongolian cashmere blend over breathable foam, pocket coils and Talalay latex foam, with flat or adjustable foundations. WC 930 and WC 910 (14.5 inches) use individually wrapped pocket coils plus multiple foam layers and a natural latex pillowtop in a hybrid build that works on adjustable bases.

WC 600 Series (WC 610 Firm 13 inches, WC 630 Plush 13.5 inches) uses pocket coils, 1,872 in a queen, plus several foam layers. WC 300 Series (12 inches) uses 390 traditional steel innerspring coils in a queen with extra side supports, in firm or plush. WC 290 Pillowtop (15 inches) and WC 270 Pillowtop (15.5 inches) are two-sided traditional steel innersprings with 450 queen coils and extra side supports; the WC 290 adds a natural latex pillowtop.

WC 210 Firm and WC 230 Plush (14 inches) are two-sided traditional steel innersprings with 450 queen coils and edge supports. Not published anywhere on the site: foam densities, coil gauge, individual layer thicknesses, cover fabric details and any certifications such as CertiPUR-US, GREENGUARD, GOTS or GOLS, so buyers should ask the store for a build sheet.

Chapter 11

Where can you try and buy the mattresses?

Why this matters to you: Where you buy sets the price, the trial and who handles problems. Check the seller's terms, not just the brand's.

Main and only listed location: Weaver's Furniture, 7011 Old Route 39 N.W., Sugarcreek, OH 44681; store hours are Monday-Saturday 9AM-5PM and closed Sunday, with warehouse hours Monday-Saturday 9AM-2PM. The store encourages try-before-you-buy: its FAQ says customers should spend time testing different comfort levels in the showroom, and mattresses are displayed there.

Buy online at weaverfurniture.com (shop, chat or contact form), by phone at 330-852-2701, or by email at sales@weaverfurniture.com; custom options and additional configurations are handled by the sales team by phone, chat or in person, and service or delivery questions go to service@weaverfurniture.com.

The store ships to the contiguous United States and lists delivery throughout the US; no additional dealer or showroom locations were found carrying the WeaverCraft mattress line, and the site notes local delivery uses its own fleet while nationwide delivery uses partner companies.

Chapter 12

Weaver Furniture vs. other mattress brands

Why this matters to you: A fair comparison needs the same facts for both beds. Line up price, trial and warranty for each one.

WeaverCraft is a regional house brand rather than a national mattress label, so the comparison is really store-brand versus boxed and online brands and versus other Amish-made lines.

It wins on in-person testing at a 25,000-square-foot Amish-country showroom, made-to-order customization with flat or adjustable foundations, two-sided flippable traditional innersprings in the WC 210, WC 230, WC 270 and WC 290 range that most national brands no longer build, and local white-glove delivery with a 60-day comfort guarantee and a 20-year warranty headline.

It loses on trial length and return freedom (no published long trial, custom orders generally non-returnable, cancellation only before production), on transparency (no foam densities, layer thicknesses, certifications or warranty terms, and coil counts published only for some models), and on delivery speed, with 3-6 week build times versus quick-ship online competitors.

Within its own showroom the Sierra Sleep by Ashley models cover entry-level price points from $289, so WeaverCraft is positioned as the premium, handcrafted, custom-built choice rather than the value leader.

More brand reviews to compare: Von Viva, Wander & Rest, Waterbed Doctor, Wellsville, White Dove Beds, White Dove Mattress.

How we research and report

This page is an early draft built from our research sheet for Weaver Furniture. We read the brand's own pages and public listings, and we do not test mattresses ourselves. Fields marked "Not yet researched" are still being checked.

Nappedia researched Weaver Furniture and its WeaverCraft mattress line in September 2026, official sources first: the weaverfurniture.com homepage and its structured data, the mattresses collection page, all ten WeaverCraft product pages (WC 990, WC 970, WC 930, WC 910, WC 600, WC 300, WC 290, WC 270, WC 230, WC 210) plus the two Sierra Sleep by Ashley mattress pages sold alongside them, and the Our Story, Ordering Process, Contact Us, Financing, Protection Plans, Frequently Asked Questions and refund policy pages.

Prices and specifications were taken from the official product and variant data; brand claims such as the 20-year warranty and 60-day guarantee are labeled as claims, and gaps (warranty terms, guarantee mechanics, firmness ratings, densities, certifications, removal services) are recorded as not published rather than filled in with estimates.

Third-party checks were attempted through web searches and review sources, including the Judge.me review widgets on the product pages, the Google-reviews widget embedded on the store site, Yelp, Tripadvisor and Birdeye; no mattress-specific third-party coverage was found,. No hands-on or lab testing was performed,.
