Why this matters to you: Feel names are the brand's words, not measurements. Use them to shortlist two or three beds, then let your body decide.
Side sleepers and couples wanting pressure relief: Comfort 10 in Euro top with gel flex foam and Smart Foam over the base. Back and stomach sleepers wanting firmer support for less: Standard 8 in with its 6 in high-density base - the authorized dealer Elkhart RV Parts describes the feel as medium-firm.
Hot sleepers: both use gel-infused foam and breathable covers, but no cooling test data or phase-change materials are published, so cooling is a manufacturer claim only. Shoulders: your bottom shoulder should sink in. Tingling or a numb arm means the bed is too firm for you.

Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees
Why this matters to you: Feel is hard to judge in a store or in a week. Know your exit plan and its cost before you pay.
No sleep trial. Lippert publishes no trial period or comfort guarantee for these mattresses; the only window is the general return policy. Change of mind: notify Lippert in writing within 10 days of receipt, return the item within 30 days of delivery at your own shipping cost, and Lippert refunds the item price plus applicable taxes less a flat 20% restocking fee (the fee does not apply to the original shipping cost).
Defective, damaged or wrong item: contact within 10 days, and Lippert sends an RMA, covers return shipping and charges no restocking fee. Returns must be in like-new, resaleable condition; custom-ordered configurations may be ineligible; installed parts may be ineligible. Why this matters to you: Delivery terms decide your first week with the bed. Confirm the date, setup and old-bed removal before you pay.
Shipping: free to the US lower 48 only from Lippert.com; Lippert's policy page says it ships anywhere in the US and Canada via FedEx or LTL, with extra taxes and brokerage fees on Canadian and other international orders. Both mattresses ship compressed in a box for easy handling through tight RV doors and fully decompress within 24 hours.

Why this matters to you: A warranty is only as good as its terms. Read the written terms and use a supported base, because the wrong frame can end coverage.
Both mattresses list a 10-year warranty, and the Standard also lists a 1-year compression guarantee covering the compressed shipping state. Beyond duration, Lippert does not publish the mattress warranty text on the product pages; the pages point to Lippert support (support.lci1.com, customerservice@lci1.com, 432-LIPPERT) for documentation, and no mattress-specific warranty PDF was found as of Sept 2026.
Not confirmed in writing: sag-depth thresholds, prorating, transferability, whether coverage is original-purchaser only, and whether the remedy is repair or replacement.
