The best mattress stores in and near Tempe, Arizona

Updated October 18, 2026 · 27 stores, each checked against its own website

The best mattress stores in and near Tempe are Mor Furniture Phoenix, Curly's Furniture Discounters and Mattress and SleepEZ Mattress Factory Showroom. We rank stores by how many mattress brands you can try in person, then by how many of their delivery, old-bed removal and return policies they post, counting one location per chain. We checked 27 stores within 8 miles of central Tempe, and no store pays to be listed.

  1. Mor Furniture Phoenix: 10 brands to try, including Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster and Sealy. Phoenix, 6.2 mi, open Sunday; free old-bed removal, publishes a return policy.
  2. Curly's Furniture Discounters and Mattress: 8 brands to try, including Serta, Beautyrest and Bed Gear. Southwest Tempe, 3.1 mi; delivery and return terms not listed, so call to ask.
  3. SleepEZ Mattress Factory Showroom: 6 brands to try, including Casper, Avocado and Nectar. North Tempe, 3.5 mi, open Sunday; old-bed removal offered, publishes a return policy.

A few minutes on a showroom bed will not tell you how it feels after a month at home. Pick a bed you trust from a store whose exchange and return policy you can live with: 20 of the 27 stores here post a policy that lets you return a bed, so read the fees and time limits before you buy.
