Compare the mattresses

Why this matters to you: The build shapes how the bed feels and what you can adjust. BEDGEAR® offers foam, hybrid, modular hybrid and air designs. Choose the type and firmness control that fit your needs.

Nine mattress models cover foam, hybrid, modular hybrid and air builds. Each has its own height, firmness choices and Queen price. Compare the build and feel with what you need at home.

Start with the feel you need: one shared setting, separate settings for two sleepers, or personal adjustment. That choice narrows the options before price and height do.

Next, match each model's height to your bed frame. Then look at its layers to see how support is built. Choose a firmness option you can live with before you buy.

Chapter 05

How well do the mattresses hold up?

Why this matters to you: Early wear can mean an earlier replacement. Check the protections before you buy so you know what each one covers.

BEDGEAR offers a construction warranty and certified foam. They address different risks, so check both before you choose.

BEDGEAR says the foams in its mattresses are CertiPUR-US certified. The program evaluates flexible polyurethane foam for content, emissions, and durability. This checks the foam itself, so weigh it as one part of the mattress.

What to watch for, and when:

  • BEDGEAR says a mattress can take up to 30 days to break in. Give the feel time to settle before judging comfort.
  • BEDGEAR gives Performance mattresses a 10-year warranty for construction defects. Check its terms before you buy.

Chapter 06

Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees

Why this matters to you: Return costs vary by mattress, so check the model's fee before ordering.

BEDGEAR allows mattress returns within 30 days of delivery, or within 100 days if unopened. The general return terms deduct $20 from refunds for return shipping.

  • Allow at least 21 days to adjust before deciding.

That deduction covers return shipping. BEDGEAR says you are responsible for return shipping. Plan how the mattress will get back before ordering.

After delivery, step by step

Not covered: Adjustable bases are non-refundable; kids' and crib mattresses, protectors, sheets, blankets and pet beds must be unopened.

Figure 6.1: What happens after delivery, and what each choice costs.

For M3 Performance® Mattress, a refund after the comfort-fit replacement is reduced by a $199 end-of-life fee. This applies if you remain dissatisfied. Decide whether that cost is acceptable before choosing the replacement.

After 21 nights, BEDGEAR says it will direct-ship a better comfort-fit solution. For M3 Performance® Mattress, BEDGEAR replaces one side's Independent Suspension. Choose this route if you want to change one side's firmness instead of returning the whole mattress. Do so within 30 days of delivery.

Check the terms for your seller and order date before buying from BEDGEAR®.
Chapter 07

Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal

Why this matters to you: Your delivery choice sets who brings the mattress inside and who handles setup. Check old-mattress removal for your address before ordering.

BEDGEAR ships within 2 business days. East Coast arrival is estimated at 3-5 business days after processing. West Coast arrival is about 7-10 business days after processing. Plan by region before preparing your room.

BEDGEAR ships through FedEx from its South Carolina warehouse. Orders placed after 3pm EST Friday-Sunday ship out by Tuesday the following week. That cutoff can add time before transit. The M Performance® Mattress arrives in a three-box system designed for easier delivery and assembly.

Typical wait: Varies by coast

  1. Choose contactless delivery outside your home if you prefer a drop-off without in-home delivery.
  2. Choose inside delivery if you want the mattress brought in but plan to set it up yourself.
  3. White Glove delivery brings the adjustable base and mattress into your home and sets them up. The team assembles the base in the room of your choice and removes packaging.
  4. Outside California, old-mattress removal is available only with White Glove when you buy an adjustable base. It adds no fee beyond White Glove. For California shipments, removal is free.
  5. Figure 9.1: Use BEDGEAR®'s East Coast or West Coast arrival estimate to plan delivery.

Before checkout, confirm timing, setup, and old-mattress removal for your address. If your purchase includes an adjustable base in the contiguous United States, White Glove costs $250.

What do the warranties cover?

Why this matters to you: A warranty matters when you know what can qualify for a claim. Check the base rule and stain limit before choosing a setup.

BEDGEAR's Performance warranty covers manufacturer defects in construction. That makes it relevant to a build flaw.

  • Registration is not required to activate coverage, but it may speed claim processing.
  • Warranty length: 10 years
  • Dip depth rule: More than 1 inch
  • What voids it or is not covered: Stains are not covered when they result from physical abuse or damage.

Review counts checked on each site · counts can change

Customer reviews and complaints

Why this matters to you: Online ratings can reflect different buyers and products. Read what each pool covers before using its score to judge a BEDGEAR mattress.

BEDGEAR lists Over 235,000+ 5 Star Reviews as of 2026-10-15. Trustpilot lists 221 reviews and a 2.0, Poor score as of 2026-10-15. Keep these separate pools when weighing buyer feedback.

How we read the reviews
  • Match each rating with its own review count.
  • Do not merge scores or counts across platforms.

BBB feedback includes a fitted split head sheet that began to tear. Google feedback questions base performance.

Read each platform on its own: who runs it, its rating scale, how many reviews it has, and the date we checked it.

Reported praise and concerns:

  • Trustpilot praise points to cooling sheets for people who sleep warm.
  • Trustpilot complaints cite product quality failures and frustration with warranty or customer service.

What are the mattresses made of?

Why this matters to you: Layers shape how a mattress feels and moves heat. Labels show which parts or materials a certification checks.

BEDGEAR models differ in comfort layers, support, cooling parts and covers. Compare those materials by model to judge feel and airflow. The cards show what each certification checks.

Foam layers shape the top feel. Support comes from wrapped coils, modular coils, air coils or a foam base, based on model. Airflow features include mesh and vents.

Safety labels, and what each one covers

BEDGEAR lists labels for emissions, textiles, foam, packaging and airflow. Match each label to the safety or material question you have.

GREENGUARD Gold
BEDGEAR says its crib mattresses are certified.
Checks low VOC emissions and total chemical emissions. Gold also requires CDPH Section 01350 compliance. It does not rate feel or support.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
BEDGEAR says each component of a certified product is tested.
Tests textiles for harmful substances, from yarn to finished product. It checks textile safety, not foam or coil support.
CertiPUR-US Certified Foam
BEDGEAR says the foams in its mattresses are certified.
Evaluates flexible polyurethane foam for content, emissions and durability. It covers foam, not the full mattress.
Sustainable Forestry Initiative
BEDGEAR says its cardboard packaging comes from SFI-certified suppliers.
Tracks certified forest materials through production, plus recycled content when applicable. It checks sourcing, not mattress layers.
Forest Stewardship Council
BEDGEAR says its cardboard packaging comes from FSC-certified suppliers.
Checks that forest products are handled correctly at each production stage. It checks forest-product handling, not mattress layers.
Airflow Certified
BEDGEAR describes this label as applying to a tested product.
Tests air permeability to ASTM D737 against BEDGEAR's minimum airflow thresholds. It measures airflow, not mattress feel.
What these labels do and don't prove

Check what each label tests. ASTM D737 checks air permeability. Use that result to judge airflow.

Are all BEDGEAR Performance® Mattresses compatible with adjustable bases?

Yes. BEDGEAR says every mattress works with an adjustable base. It recommends its adjustable base for an optimal fit.

How do BEDGEAR Performance® Mattresses keep me cool?

If you remain dissatisfied after replacement, BEDGEAR refunds the M3 purchase minus a $199 end-of-life fee.
