The 30-Second Verdict: Quick Summary

12 PARK (12 Park Sleep) is the mattress label of Jeffco Fibres. It's a family-owned US foam and fiber maker, in business since 1971, with factories in Massachusetts and Connecticut. You get five all-foam mattresses with gel, graphite and AirCool layers. They run 9 to 14 inches thick and range from Firm to Plush. They're sold through retailers such as QVC and AAFES. A 10-year limited warranty applies. The brand doesn't publish a sleep trial. The biggest catch is price. The brand site lists every mattress at $0.00 and sends you to retailers.

It sells five all-foam gel, graphite and AirCool mattresses (9 to 14 inches, Firm to Plush) through retailers such as QVC and AAFES. A 10-year limited warranty applies; no sleep trial is published. Chapter 02

Comfort and firmness: which mattress fits you

Why this matters to you: Feel names are the brand's words, not measurements. Use them to shortlist two or three beds, then let your body decide.

Side sleepers: the Plush 13-inch Ultra Deluxe Gel and the Medium 11-, 12- and 14-inch models are the closest fits, with gel, graphite and AirCool layers aimed at pressure relief; per brand FAQ most models use a medium-firm feel because the maker finds most consumers prefer it.

Back sleepers: the Medium 11-, 12- and 14-inch models suit average-weight back sleepers seeking contouring plus high-density base support for spinal alignment; the Firm 9-inch suits back and stomach sleepers wanting less sink. Stomach sleepers: the Firm 9-inch is the only firm option; heavier stomach sleepers should confirm edge support and thickness with the retailer since weight guidance is not published.

Hot sleepers: the AirCool 12- and 14-inch and graphite-bearing 12-, 13- and 14-inch models are positioned for cooling; the brand claims AirCool airflow measures off the charts per standard ASTM test methods and graphite transfers heat away from the body. Heavier sleepers: the 13- and 14-inch models carry thicker 9-inch support bases; firmness-by-weight guidance is not published as of Sept 2026.

Weight chart not yet researched

Weight and sleep position can change how a bed feels. We have not yet checked whether 12 PARK publishes a fit chart by body weight, so use a trial, where one is offered, to test the bed the way you sleep at home.

Four alignment checkpoints against a neutral posture line Neck Shoulders Lower back Hips level with spine sink in, no pinch no gap below no sag Straight spine line
  1. Neck: on your side, your nose should line up with the middle of your chest, not tip up or down.
  2. Shoulders: your bottom shoulder should sink in. Tingling or a numb arm means the bed is too firm for you.
  3. Lower back: on your back, slide a flat hand under your waist. A big gap means too firm; no room at all can mean too soft.
  4. Hips: ask someone to look from the side. Hips lower than shoulders means the bed is too soft for you.
Figure 2.1: Four checks to run in a store, lying still in the position you sleep in most. The store test in chapter 11 says how long to lie on each bed.

Compare the mattresses

Why this matters to you: Models from one brand can differ in feel, height and layers. Match the feel label and height to how you sleep before you compare prices.

Prices checked Sept 2026 · recheck before buying

Mattress prices and value

Why this matters to you: A starting price can rise with size, base and delivery. Get the full price for your size in writing before you choose.

Brand-site pricing shows $0.00 for all five models (9-, 11-, 12-, 13- and 14-inch), with purchase deferred to retailers (AAFES for four models, QVC for the 11-inch, plus a Macys retail category). Actual retailer prices, size-level pricing, financing and promotions: not published as of Sept 2026.

Value read: the brand positions itself as superior comfort at a smart value with US-made CertiPUR-US foams and published comfort-layer densities (3.25-4.0 lb), which is a stronger spec-disclosure starting point than many value bed-in-box rivals; however value cannot be verified against rivals without retrievable street prices, and shoppers must price-compare at the retailer.

Chapter 05

How well do the mattresses hold up?

Why this matters to you: A mattress is a long buy. Lean on the written warranty and real owner reports to judge how it will last.

Brand-reported durability: 10-year limited warranty from original purchase date covering visible indentation greater than 1.5 inches (not caused by improper foundation), foam splits or cracks under normal use and proper care, and outer-fabric tearing or splitting under normal use; excludes comfort preference, indentation under 1.5 inches, normal softening and settling, abuse, stains, moisture, mold, improper cleaning and cover removal.

The brand advises rotating (not flipping) 1-2 times per year and using a proper foundation. Independent durability testing (e.g. rollator, ASTM sag or third-party longevity tests beyond the brand-cited ASTM airflow claim): not published as of Sept 2026. Company track record: maker Jeffco Fibres states 50-plus years in foam and fiber and mattress-in-a-box manufacturing since 1971, which is brand-reported rather than independent verification.

Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees

Why this matters to you: Feel is hard to judge in a store or in a week. Know your exit plan and its cost before you pay.

Sleep trial length, return mechanics, exchange policy and fees on the official brand site: not published as of Sept 2026; no trial period appears on the homepage, model pages, FAQ, warranty, unboxing or care pages. Because the brand site defers purchase to retailers, returns and exchanges are governed by the selling retailer (QVC, AAFES or similar) rather than by a brand-direct trial.

Adjustment guidance the brand does publish: allow the body up to two weeks to adjust to a new mattress, and unbox within 60 days of receipt (a warranty condition). Shoppers should confirm the retailer trial window, return shipping or restocking fees, and exchange rules before buying.

Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal

Why this matters to you: Delivery terms decide your first week with the bed. Confirm the date, setup and old-bed removal before you pay.

Delivery: mattresses are made to order, compressed and boxed, and shipped direct to the buyer door with no scheduled delivery date or waiting for a delivery person, per the official Why 12 Park page; packaging is sized to fit through doors and tight spaces. Cost, speed, tracking and geographic limits: not published as of Sept 2026.

Setup: place the box in the room, set the rolled bag on the base, cut the bag slowly and let the mattress unfold; allow 72 hours to fully regain shape and air uncovered in a ventilated area for a few hours before sheeting.

Base specs: solid foundation, platform base or wooden slats with gaps no more than 2 inches (unboxing page) to 3 inches (care and warranty pages), with strong center support and legs for Full, Queen and King sizes; improper support voids the warranty. White-glove setup and old-mattress removal: not published as of Sept 2026; the buyer is responsible for disposing of a warrantied defective mattress.

Typical wait: Not published

What do the warranties cover?

Why this matters to you: A warranty is only as good as its terms. Read the written terms and use a supported base, because the wrong frame can end coverage.

10-year limited warranty from the original purchase date, valid only for the original owner/purchaser buying from Jeffco Fibres or an authorized retailer with proof of purchase; non-transferable; one replacement per purchase; replacement carries no new warranty.

Covers: visible indentation over 1.5 inches not caused by improper foundation; foam splits or cracks despite normal use and proper care; outer-fabric tearing or splitting despite normal use and proper care.

Excludes: comfort or preference; sag under 1.5 inches and normal softening or settling; abuse including folding (except adjustable-base use); cuts, tears, burns, stains and liquid damage; mold or mildew; tailoring imperfections; improper cleaning; insect infestation; use without the original cover.

Process: email CustomerService@jeffcofibres.com with proof of purchase and photos of mattress, foundation, frame and law tags; Jeffco may repair or replace (equal-or-higher substitute if the model is discontinued); Jeffco pays freight on first-year replacements, otherwise transport and disposal are the buyer cost. Voids: unboxing later than 60 days after receipt; removing or washing the zippered cover; improper foundation or frame.

Review counts checked on each site · they change daily

Customer reviews and complaints

Why this matters to you: Star ratings depend on who posts and where. Read the low-star reviews for patterns, not just the average.

Brand-site reviews: no on-site review system or ratings found; product pages show only social share counters at zero. Third-party ratings (QVC, Macys, AAFES, Google, BBB, Sleep Foundation, RTINGS): not published as of Sept 2026, and no indexed rating aggregates were found. Complaint themes from retrievable sources: none documented as of Sept 2026.

Why reviews are scarce: 12 PARK is a retailer-distributed label whose site defers purchase to QVC, AAFES and similar partners, so customer feedback lives on retailer pages rather than the brand site; the brand footer is dated 2023, suggesting the site itself is lightly maintained, which further thins public review trails.

What are the mattresses made of?

Why this matters to you: Layer names say little without numbers. Ask what is inside your exact model, layer by layer.

All-foam layered construction; no coils and no latex core published.

Comfort layers per official model pages: AirCool Foam (open-cell, breathable top layer on the 12- and 14-inch), Graphite Memory Foam at 3.25 lb density (12-, 13- and 14-inch), Deluxe Open Cell Gel Memory Foam at 4.0 lb density (9-, 11- and 13-inch), EnduraFlex latex-alternative foam at 2.5 lb ILD (11-, 12- and 14-inch), and High Density Support Base Foam (7-inch on 9-, 11- and 12-inch; 9-inch on 13- and 14-inch).

Cover, fire barrier, quilt and adhesive specifics: not published as of Sept 2026. Certifications with evidence: CertiPUR-US Certified Foams per the official certifications page, described as tested and approved for chemical content, durability, emissions and performance, plus a proudly crafted in the USA claim with domestic and imported materials. Where can you try and buy the mattresses?

Why this matters to you: Where you buy sets the price, the trial and who handles problems. Check the seller's terms, not just the brand's.

Buy through partner retailers: the brand site Add To Cart flow defers to AAFES for the 9-, 12-, 13- and 14-inch models and to QVC for the 11-inch model, with a Macys retail category also referenced. No brand-owned showrooms, dealers or trial rooms are published.

12 PARK vs. other mattress brands

Why this matters to you: A fair comparison needs the same facts for both beds. Line up price, trial and warranty for each one.

Versus Zinus (value memory foam): 12 PARK wins on US manufacturing and published comfort-layer densities (3.25-4.0 lb) plus CertiPUR-US foam claims; Zinus wins on widely published prices, sizes, weights, trial terms and abundant third-party reviews. Versus Lucid (value bed-in-box): 12 PARK wins on domestic production and density disclosure; Lucid wins on broad retail availability, published specs per size and deeper review history.

Versus Classic Brands (value foam): 12 PARK wins on cooling-foam storytelling (AirCool, graphite) with density figures; Classic Brands wins on model breadth with published pricing across major marketplaces. Versus Ashley Chime Memory Foam (budget retail foam): 12 PARK wins on foam pedigree from a 1971 US foam maker and CertiPUR-US claims; Ashley wins on in-store try-before-you-buy access and published everyday pricing.

More brand reviews to compare: Zeno Mattress, Zinus, Zoma Sleep, 45th Street Bedding, 5 Little Monkeys, A Dormir.

Competitor details reflect published prices and specs on the date shown. Mattress brands may update prices and trial terms over time.

How we research and report

This page is an early draft built from our research sheet for 12 PARK. We read the brand's own pages and public listings, and we do not test mattresses ourselves. Fields marked "Not yet researched" are still being checked.

Researched Sept 16, 2026 from official 12parksleep.com pages first (homepage, all five model pages, mattresses listing, warranty, FAQ, certifications, about, why-12-park, unboxing, mattress-care and contact pages) plus maker Jeffco Fibres at jeffcofibres.com; brand claims are labeled as brand-reported and gaps were recorded rather than filled.

Retailer trial terms, street prices and retailer ratings (QVC, Macys, AAFES) could not be confirmed as of Sept 2026.
