Nook Sleep Systems was a Los Angeles brand that sold organic, breathable crib mattresses plus twin and full big-kid beds. Prices ran from $199 to $899. Its headlines were a 100-night crib trial and a lifetime crib-core warranty. It suited parents who wanted a certified nontoxic crib mattress. The big caveat is that the store closed between late 2023 and early 2024, and the site is now a parked page. You can't buy new, start a trial, or claim a warranty today.

Good fit: parents who wanted a certified nontoxic, breathable crib mattress and would pay a premium for it; allergy- and asthma-focused families; shoppers who preferred a washable zip-off SafeSleep cover over fitted sheets; families who wanted the same organic materials carried through into a twin or full big-kid bed.
Poor fit: anyone shopping today - the brand appears to have ceased trading between late 2023 and early 2024 and nooksleep.com is a parked GoDaddy page as of Sept 2026, so there is no current purchase path, no active trial and no warranty service; budget shoppers, since cribs ran $199-$449, the twin $699 and the full $899; shoppers who want a thick adult mattress, because the big-kid beds are 6 inches and the crib mattresses only 4 inches; and anyone who needs white-glove delivery or old-mattress removal, neither of which Nook ever published.

Chapter 02
Comfort and firmness: which mattress fits you
Why this matters to you: Feel names are the brand's words, not measurements. Use them to shortlist two or three beds, then let your body decide.
Brand-level and crib-specific rather than adult sleep-position specific - Nook published no adult feel, firmness scale or weight rating for any mattress. Crib sleepers from newborn to toddler: the whole line was built around a two-stage core.
Use the firm infant side from day one and flip to the slightly cushier toddler side around 18 months; Nook said this depends on the child's size, weight and development and advised checking with a pediatrician. The brand states the infant side is identifiable by folds or flaps where the fire barrier is adhered and the toddler side is the smooth side.
Heavy or very active toddlers and older kids: the Pebble Twin and Pebble Full pair CertiPUR-US foam with natural latex, the most supportive cores Nook sold, and are aimed at children outgrowing a crib. Allergy-prone and asthma-prone sleepers: the Full was explicitly marketed as allergen-free and asthma-friendly, and the brand positioned the entire line as hypoallergenic through organic cotton, wool, eucalyptus and zinc.
Hot sleepers or anyone worried about overheating: breathability was the entire pitch, delivered by 3D SafeSleep pebble and dimple covers plus internal air channels on the Breeze, and Nook framed this as reducing both overheating and suffocation risk. Adult back, side and stomach position: not published by Nook, which made no adult sleep-position claims. Weight limits: not published by Nook for any mattress.

Which Nook Sleep Systems feel fits you?
Weight chart not yet researched
Weight and sleep position can change how a bed feels. We have not yet checked whether Nook Sleep Systems publishes a fit chart by body weight, so use a trial, where one is offered, to test the bed the way you sleep at home.
Neck: on your side, your nose should line up with the middle of your chest, not tip up or down.
Shoulders: your bottom shoulder should sink in. Tingling or a numb arm means the bed is too firm for you.
Lower back: on your back, slide a flat hand under your waist. A big gap means too firm; no room at all can mean too soft.
Hips: ask someone to look from the side. Hips lower than shoulders means the bed is too soft for you.
Figure 2.1: Four checks to run in a store, lying still in the position you sleep in most. The store test in chapter 11 says how long to lie on each bed.

Mattress prices and value
Why this matters to you: A starting price can rise with size, base and delivery. Get the full price for your size in writing before you choose.
Price bands by the last verified catalog in June 2023: crib mattresses $199 to $439, with the Mini Pure Organic 2.0 at $199, the Air 2.0 at $199-$249, the Pure Organic 2.0 Two-Stage at $439, and the Pure Organic for Stokke Sleepi at $449 in 2021; big-kid beds $699 for the Pebble Twin and $899 for the Pebble Full; accessories roughly $79 to $149 including covers, DreamSheets, the Uh Oh! pad and pillows.
Historic trajectory shows steady price creep on the flagship alongside a shrinking line: the Pure Organic was listed from $369 in 2020, $419 in Oct 2021 and $439 by June 2023, while the Breeze and Dream Cotton were cut entirely by 2023 and only the entry Air stayed near $199-$249. Value read: Nook sat at the premium end of crib mattresses.
A $439 organic crib mattress costs more than most foam crib mattresses and lands in the same band as Naturepedic's organic crib range, and the $699 and $899 big-kid beds compete against mainstream adult twin and full mattresses rather than kid-specific ones.
The value case rested on certifications including GREENGUARD Gold, GOTS, Oeko-Tex, CertiPUR-US and Oregon Tilth, plus a lifetime crib-core warranty and a 100-night crib trial, none of which mainstream crib mattresses matched. Nook discounted heavily: newsletters gave 10-20% off, a 15% military discount ran, and by June 2023 the site banner read SAVE 50% OFF ON ALL MATTRESSES, a liquidation-style move.
As of Sept 2026 there is no way to buy at these prices - the store is closed and no authorized retail channel was found, so any Nook purchase now is secondhand.

Chapter 05
How well do the mattresses hold up?
Why this matters to you: A mattress is a long buy. Lean on the written warranty and real owner reports to judge how it will last.
Warranty length is the main evidence available, and it is brand-reported rather than independently tested. Crib mattress cores: Nook offered a Limited Lifetime Warranty on every crib mattress core when bought with a Pebble, Dimple or Print cover, with proof of purchase and for the original owner only, and only 90 days when bought with a Basic Cover. Big-kid cores: 10-year limited warranty on the Pebble Twin and Pebble Full, also brand-reported.
Covers: 1-year limited on Pebble, Dimple and Print SafeSleep covers, 180 days on DreamSheets, 90 days on Basic Covers. There is no published sag-depth threshold, no body-impression or indentation spec, and no coil gauge or foam density figure that would let you compare durability numerically - a real gap versus adult mattress warranties, which usually name a 1 inch or 1.5 inch sag limit.
Nook explicitly excluded normal wear and tear and damage from improper care, and it pre-emptively stated that hand-sewing variation, natural pilling on fabric and natural fibers embedded in the fire barrier are not warranty defects affecting safety or function, and that blue or brown coloring at the fire-barrier seams is non-toxic glue that does not compromise the mattress.
Those carve-outs matter because they cover exactly the cosmetic aging an infant mattress shows first. Independent durability testing: none found. No RTINGS, Consumer Reports or other third-party durability or long-term testing of Nook mattresses was located as of Sept 2026, and nothing resembling a standardized rollator or fatigue test is published.
The brand did publish one construction-related note: compressed mattresses such as the Air, Twin and Full need 48-72 hours to expand fully, and the shipping page told buyers to contact Nook immediately if anything arrived missing or damaged. an all-latex and coir core like the Pure Organic should resist sagging better than foam, while the CertiPUR-US foam models, meaning the Breeze, the Air and the foam-plus-latex Twin and Full, are the ones most likely to soften over time.
The lifetime crib-core warranty was only as durable as the company that wrote it, so its practical value ended when Nook stopped operating.

Chapter 06
Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees
Why this matters to you: Feel is hard to judge in a store or in a week. Know your exit plan and its cost before you pay.
Two separate policies, and which one applies depends on the product. 100-NIGHT FREE TRIAL: standard-size crib mattresses purchased on nooksleep.com were eligible. You registered the mattress for the trial, then had 100 nights to decide, and if either parent or baby was unhappy you returned the mattress at Nook's expense for a full refund.
The window started from the date of purchase OR the baby's birthdate, whichever was later, which is a genuinely parent-friendly detail because buying the crib mattress months early does not burn the trial. Limits: continental US only, standard-size crib mattresses only, so the Mini, the Stokke Sleepi, any Basic Cover configuration, the Twin and the Full were excluded.
Nook told buyers to keep the original packaging and shipping boxes for the whole 100-night period in case of a return or exchange. 30-DAY RETURN POLICY for everything else: accepted on unused products within 30 days of purchase, with items unused, undamaged and in original packaging with all labels, tags, instructions and warranty information attached, and used or washed products refused outright on child-health grounds.
Exceptions to the 30-day rule were the 100-night crib trial and returns due to manufacturing defect or shipping error. FINAL SALE and not returnable: all Practically Perfect products, special orders and clearance items.
THREE RETURN MECHANICS: free return shipping in exchange for a refund as store credit, which never expires; $15 return shipping with a refund to the original form of payment minus the $15 fee; or no shipping label provided, where you pay your own carrier, email the tracking number to alert the receiving department, and get a refund to the original payment method.
FEE EXCEPTION: Mini Pure, Pebble Twin and Pebble Full mattresses incur a $40 return shipping fee instead of $15. PROCESS: submit the return request form, Nook emails a return shipping label within 3 business days, then once the order is received and inspected at the warehouse a store credit or refund is issued within 3 business days, with up to 72 additional hours for funds to post to a credit card.
Any item outside the 30-day window no longer qualifies for refund or exchange. Exchanges were handled through the same return flow rather than a separate exchange program, and by ordering from nooksleep.com you agreed to have read and understood the policy. Caveat that matters now: with the store closed, no trial, return, exchange or refund can be initiated as of Sept 2026.

Chapter 07
Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal
Why this matters to you: Delivery terms decide your first week with the bed. Confirm the date, setup and old-bed removal before you pay.
Shipping method and speed, brand-published: all orders processed Monday through Friday. The Oct 2021 version of the policy said orders ship within 1 business day and that orders placed after 12:00pm PST on a Friday go out the following Monday, and that cutoff applied to 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air orders too.
The later FAQ said 1-3 business days and stated that only UPS Ground Shipping was offered at that time, while the Air product page still referenced 2nd Day and Next Day Air, so expedited options existed at some point in the brand's life. Crib mattresses shipped flat in a 54 x 30 x 6 inch box, packed in paper or recycled plastic, not rolled, with the SafeSleep cover arriving in separate packaging ready to be washed.
The Air was the exception, arriving pre-dressed with its cover and compressed into an 11 x 32 inch box that needed immediate unpacking and 48-72 hours to expand. The Pebble Twin and Pebble Full were compressed and rolled into a bag and shipped via UPS or FedEx, needing 48-72 hours, with the shipping page saying up to 72 hours, to fully expand; Nook warned not to worry if a compressed mattress looks short on day one.
Cost: the FAQ stated plainly that Nook Sleep does not have free shipping, offering flat-rate shipping for the contiguous United States and noting some addresses might find a lower UPS Ground rate at checkout. Earlier site badges advertised free shipping on continental US orders over $99, so a free-shipping threshold existed in earlier years and was later dropped. Sales tax applied only to orders shipped to California addresses.
International: Nook did not ship directly to Canada and pointed shoppers to Canadian retailers instead, suggested package-forwarding services for other countries, and had select retailers in Australia. Setup: no white-glove or in-home setup service was published anywhere - this is a box-to-door brand, and setup amounts to unpacking, letting the core expand and zipping on the SafeSleep cover.
Old-mattress removal: not published or offered in any source found, and no haul-away program appears in the shipping, returns, warranty or FAQ pages. Frame and base specs: Nook published no foundation, box-spring or adjustable-base requirement for the crib mattresses beyond recommending a crib with a platform, wood-slat or solid base for firm and even support, and the Twin and Full pages published no base requirement either.
Note the crib mattresses are only 4 inches deep and Nook warned that its covers should not be used on other brands' 5 to 6 inch crib mattresses.
Typical wait: 1 to 3 business days

Chapter 08
Terms checked on the brand's site · recheck before you buy
What do the warranties cover?
Why this matters to you: A warranty is only as good as its terms. Read the written terms and use a supported base, because the wrong frame can end coverage.
Brand-published terms from Nook's warranty page and product pages. CRIB MATTRESS CORES: limited lifetime warranty on each crib mattress core from date of purchase with proof of purchase, but only when purchased with a Pebble, Dimple or Print cover. Any crib mattress purchased with a Basic Cover was eligible for only 90 days from due date and was not eligible for the 100-Night Free Trial.
BIG-KID MATTRESSES: 10-year limited warranty on the Pebble Twin and Pebble Full mattress cores from date of purchase with proof of purchase. COVERS: 1-year limited warranty on Pebble, Dimple and Print SafeSleep mattress covers from date of purchase; DreamSheets 180 days; Basic Covers 90 days.
ACCESSORIES: 90-day limited warranty on the Uh Oh! waterproof pad; 180-day limited warranty on the Changing Pad, LilyPad play mat, LilyPad2 play mat, Niche Nursing Pillow, Pebble Pillow, Body Pillow and Jr. Pillow. EXPLICITLY EXCLUDED: LilyPad2 backpacks are not covered, and Loungers and Poufs were retired and are not eligible for warranty coverage.
SCOPE: limited warranty against defects from manufacturing error or defective material only, not normal wear and tear, and not damage from improper care. WHO IS COVERED: the original purchase and original owner only, and coverage is not extended to items already replaced under warranty. VOID: any product bought as a Floor Model, Flash Sale, Final Sale, Practically Perfect Final Sale, Resold or Return to Stock item, or giveaway.
Nook also stated that hand-sewing variation, natural pilling on fabric and natural fibers embedded in the fire barrier are not warranty defects that affect safety or function. PROCESS: Nook ran a warranty claim form from its support pages and required proof of purchase, with a separate Product Registration page.
HONEST CAVEAT: with no company operating as of Sept 2026 and no successor identified, these terms are historical - a lifetime crib-core warranty from a defunct brand has no practical enforcement path.

Review counts checked on each site · they change daily
Customer reviews and complaints
Why this matters to you: Star ratings depend on who posts and where. Read the low-star reviews for patterns, not just the average.
Brand-site ratings are the only substantial review pool found, and they are self-hosted, so treat them as brand-reported: Organic Pure Crib Mattress 4.9 out of 5 from 36 reviews; Breeze Breathable 4.8 out of 5 from 20 reviews; Dream Cotton 5.0 out of 5; Air Lightweight 4.9 out of 5; Mini Pure Organic 4.6 out of 5 on the landing page with the 2.0 product page showing 4.8 out of 5 from 20 reviews; Pure Organic for Stokke Sleepi 5.0 out of 5; Pebble Twin 5.0 out of 5 from 30 reviews; Pebble Full 4.9 out of 5 from 7 reviews.
Review text on the site was overwhelmingly positive and parent-voiced, with recurring themes of better sleep after switching, confidence about breathability once a baby started rolling onto the stomach, and no discernible odor out of the packaging. One mini-crib reviewer noted the mattress fit a Babyletto Origami crib and was thicker than other mini crib mattresses.
Negative signals: the Mini Pure Organic product page carried individual 1-star and 3-star reviews alongside the 5-star ones, which indicates the ratings were not scrubbed, and Nook's own exclusions list covering floor models, flash sales, final sales and Practically Perfect returns implies a real volume of returns. Third-party coverage is thin.
SmartCustomer, which absorbed the SiteJabber nooksleep.com page, shows 0 reviews and a 0.0 rating with a note that the business does not proactively collect reviews. No Better Business Bureau profile or rating could be retrieved because bbb.org blocks automated access, and no BBB complaint count is published in any source we found.
No Trustpilot page, no RTINGS or Consumer Reports reliability data, and no Amazon or Target listings were found as of Sept 2026. now that the brand is gone, the complaint pattern after late 2023 is about the inability to claim the lifetime warranty rather than about product defects, because Nook's lifetime crib-core promise was only as durable as the company and no successor entity was found to honor it.
Nook claimed the Breeze was top-ranked by Safety.com; we could not verify the Safety.com ranking.

What are the mattresses made of?
Why this matters to you: Layer names say little without numbers. Ask what is inside your exact model, layer by layer.
Brand-reported materials, taken from official product pages. CORES: Pure Organic v1 was 25 lbs of Organic Coconut Coir, Natural Rubber Tree Latex and Organic Wool, fully foam-free and all-natural; Pure Organic 2.0 was 19 lbs of Organic Cotton, Corn Fiber, Glass-Free Rayon, Coconut Coir and Natural Rubber Tree Latex. Breeze Breathable was 7 lbs of CertiPUR-US Foam plus a Non-Toxic Freudenberg Fire Barrier with internal air channels.
Dream Cotton was 20 lbs of dual-density upcycled cotton denim, meaning post-consumer blue jeans, plus a Non-Toxic Freudenberg Fire Barrier. Air was 9 lbs of CertiPUR-US Foam plus a Non-Toxic Freudenberg Fire Barrier; Air 2.0 was 9 lbs of CertiPUR-US Foam, glass-free rayon and non-toxic polyester.
Mini Pure Organic was 14 lbs of Organic Coconut Coir and Organic Wool; Mini Pure Organic 2.0 was 11 lbs of Organic Cotton, Corn Fiber, Glass-Free Rayon and Coconut Coir. Pebble Full was 34 lbs of CertiPUR-US Foam, Natural Rubber Tree Latex and a Non-Toxic Freudenberg Fire Barrier.
COVERS: the zip-on 3D SafeSleep cover is the structural heart of the system. Pebble cover was Organic Cotton, Organic Eucalyptus Lyocell, an Organic Cotton and Non-Toxic Poly Blend, an Easy-Close Nylon Zipper and 3D SafeSleep Breathe-Thru Technology. Dimple cover was Organic Eucalyptus Lyocell, Organic Cotton, the same poly blend and zipper.
Print cover was Organic Jersey Cotton, Non-Toxic Polyester Fill, Polyester Breathe-Thru Twill and the zipper. A cheaper Basic Cover also existed, but it downgraded the warranty to 90 days and disqualified the mattress from the 100-night trial.
The nano-treated pebble and dimple fabric is water resistant, not waterproof: Nook said small messes bead on top for about 90 minutes before liquid may eventually seep into the cover while the core stays dry. Care is wash inside out, cold, mild detergent, line dry or low tumble, with no fabric softener, chlorine bleach or dryer sheets, and crib sheets are optional.
CERTIFICATIONS from Nook's own certifications page: GREENGUARD Gold for lowest chemical emissions and VOCs; GOTS, requiring at least 95 percent organic fiber, no bleach or formaldehyde, non-toxic dyes and strict social and environmental factory standards; Oeko-Tex, certified free of harmful chemicals; CertiPUR-US foam, made without ozone depleters, toxic flame retardants, mercury, lead or heavy metals, formaldehyde or phthalates, with VOC emissions under 0.5 ppm; Oregon Tilth Certified Organic; FSC; and bluesign.
Nook also stated all products comply with Federal and State CPSC testing requirements. Caveat: the line mixes organic fabric with a non-toxic cotton and poly blend and, on three models, CertiPUR-US foam, so it is not 100 percent organic across the board - only the Pure Organic family was marketed as organic from core to cover. No independent chemical test results were found; all certification claims are brand-published.

Chapter 11
Where can you try and buy the mattresses?
Why this matters to you: Where you buy sets the price, the trial and who handles problems. Check the seller's terms, not just the brand's.
Primary channel was direct-to-consumer at nooksleep.com with support by phone at 310-417-8220, email at info@nooksleep.com and web chat, staffed 8AM to 5PM Pacific Monday through Friday with a 1-business-day response target. Wholesale: Nook ran a store locator at nooksleep.com/apps/store-locator and stated products were widely available in the United States and Canada plus select retailers in Australia.
The archived locator listed roughly 48 stores across the US and Canada, almost entirely independent baby boutiques and regional specialty chains.
Named examples: Sprout San Francisco in Chicago IL and Salt Lake City UT; Galt Baby in Clybourn and Northbrook IL; The Baby Cubby in Lindon UT; Enlightened Baby and The Natural Baby Company in Austin TX; Baby By Design in Fort Worth TX; Green Dazzle Baby in Lubbock TX; Baby Love Boutique in Boerne TX; Stork Maternity Consulting in Austin TX; Baby Grand in St.
Louis Park MN; Babys on Broadway in Little Falls MN; Itty Bitty Bella in Collierville TN; Beautiful Beginnings Baby Boutique in Southfield MI; Kangaroo Pouch in Myrtle Beach SC; and in Canada, West Coast Kids in Winnipeg MB, Snuggle Bugz in London, Burlington, Milton, Etobicoke and Toronto ON, Baby Envy in Windsor ON and Three Lambs in Tecumseh ON.
Sibling brands sharing the factory: none published - Nook never disclosed its manufacturer or contract factory, though it stated products were carefully made in small batches. Adjacent-brand note: by 2023 Nook sold cribs and dressers under a dadada collection, which is a partner brand rather than a disclosed Nook factory sibling. CURRENT STATUS, which overrides everything above: nooksleep.com went dark between late 2023 and early 2024.
A June 26, 2023 version of the site showed the normal store running a 50 percent off all mattresses banner, Sept 15, 2023 it was still live, an April 2024 version served an unrelated Shopify storefront, and by June 2024 the domain returned a store-is-unavailable message; by January 2025 it hosted hijacked Korean gambling content and as of Sept 2026 it is a GoDaddy parked page. No acquisition or successor-brand announcement was found.
Practical conclusion: as of Sept 2026 you cannot try or buy Nook mattresses new anywhere - no official site, no brand store locator, and no Nook listings found on Amazon or Target. The retailer list above is historical and those boutiques may still hold clearance or used stock, which is the only remaining way to see one in person.
Financing was offered through Affirm, and payment options included Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and PayPal, later adding Apple Pay, Google Pay and Diners Club.

Chapter 12
Nook Sleep Systems vs. other mattress brands
Why this matters to you: A fair comparison needs the same facts for both beds. Line up price, trial and warranty for each one.
vs Naturepedic: both are premium organic crib mattress brands with GREENGUARD Gold and deep certification stacks. Naturepedic's edge is that it still operates, is stocked in far more channels and publishes clearer construction detail per model; Nook's edge was the 3D pebble and dimple breathable zip cover, the fully foam-free coconut coir, wool and latex Pure Organic core, and a lifetime crib-core warranty.
Nook now loses purely on availability, since you cannot buy or service one. vs Newton Baby: the closest direct rival, because both sold the breathability story to the same anxious-parent audience and both leaned on a washable breathable surface.
Newton's Wovenaire core is fully washable and breathable at a lower price and Newton is still trading, while Nook countered with organic wool, coir and latex rather than polymer, a two-stage core and the lifetime warranty.
For a nursery shopper today Newton wins by default because Nook no longer exists. vs mainstream crib mattresses from Graco, Delta and Sealy crib lines: those run roughly $80 to $200, are widely stocked and easy to return, but they are polyurethane foam with vinyl or polyester covers, carry no organic claim and no breathability claim, and typically warranty for 1 to 10 years.
Nook's $199 to $439 bought certifications and breathability rather than a fundamentally different crib-safety outcome, and it is worth being clear that no crib mattress has been shown to prevent SIDS. vs adult direct-to-consumer mattress brands such as Casper, Purple and Saatva for the big-kid beds: Nook's $699 twin and $899 full competed at real adult-mattress prices with only a 6 inch foam-and-latex build and a 10-year warranty, while adult brands at that money offer 10 to 12 inch hybrids, 10 to 15 year warranties and sleep trials.
Nook's only defensible angles there were the organic cover, the hypoallergenic and allergen-free positioning and the matching nursery ecosystem. Overall: Nook was a credible premium organic crib specialist with a strong certification story, but as a brand to buy from in Sept 2026 it loses to every operating competitor on availability, trial and warranty service alone.
Competitor details reflect published prices and specs on the date shown. Mattress brands may update prices and trial terms over time.
Chapter 13
How we research and report
This page is an early draft built from our research sheet for Nook Sleep Systems. We read the brand's own pages and public listings, and we do not test mattresses ourselves. Fields marked "Not yet researched" are still being checked.
Researched in September 2026 for the Nappedia catalog. Because nooksleep.com is no longer a live store - it resolves to a GoDaddy parked page as of Sept 2026, with WHOIS showing the domain registered since Aug 21, 2009 and last updated Sept 2, 2026 - this profile is built from archived copies of Nook's own pages, official site first, then the retailer and review layers.
Official-site sources were homepage versions from 2020, Oct 2021, June 2023 and Sept 2023; the product pages for Pure Organic, Breeze Breathable, Dream Cotton, Air, the Pebble Twin, the Pebble Full, Mini Pure Organic, Pure Organic 2.0 Two-Stage, Air 2.0, Mini Pure Organic 2.0 and Pure Organic for Stokke Sleepi; the compare-crib-mattresses page; and the warranty, shipping, returns, 100-Night Free Trial, certifications, FAQ, press and store-locator pages.
Brand claims are labeled as brand-reported throughout: all certification, weight, price, rating and policy figures come from Nook's own pages and none has been presented as independently verified. Gaps were recorded rather than filled.
No Better Business Bureau profile or rating could be retrieved because bbb.org blocks automated access, SmartCustomer's nooksleep.com page shows zero reviews, and no Trustpilot, RTINGS, Consumer Reports or Amazon and Target listing was found. The Safety.com top-ranked claim for the Breeze could not be independently retrieved.
No factory or manufacturer disclosure, no foundation or adjustable-base requirement, and no separate sleep-trial or warranty terms for the big-kid mattresses beyond the 10-year core warranty were found. Actual current prices and availability are unfindable because the brand is defunct; no successor entity was identified.
The brand's end date is given as an interval rather than a date because it cannot be pinned down more precisely: the site was live Sept 15, 2023 and by April 2024 the domain was serving an unrelated storefront.

Quick Answers
Quick Answers Before You Buy
Safety and materials
Buying and policies
Can I still buy a Nook mattress new?
No, not as of Sept 2026. nooksleep.com is a parked GoDaddy page, the store returned a store-is-unavailable message by June 2024, and no Nook listings were found on Amazon or Target. Secondhand or clearance stock at the independent boutiques that once carried Nook is the only route.
Is Nook still honoring the lifetime crib mattress warranty?
Effectively no. The lifetime crib-core warranty was limited to the original owner and required proof of purchase, and with no operating company and no successor brand found there is nobody to file a claim with.
What did Nook crib mattresses cost?
$199 to $439 at the last verified catalog in June 2023, with the Mini Pure Organic 2.0 at $199, the Air 2.0 at $199-$249, the Pure Organic 2.0 Two-Stage at $439 and the Pure Organic for Stokke Sleepi at $449 in 2021; the Pebble Twin was $699 and the Pebble Full $899.
What was the big idea behind Nook?
Breathable certified-safe sleep for babies. Zip-on 3D SafeSleep pebble and dimple covers moved air around the baby, three models were foam-free or mostly natural, and the line carried GREENGUARD Gold, GOTS, Oeko-Tex, CertiPUR-US and Oregon Tilth certifications.
How did the 100-night trial work?
Standard-size crib mattresses bought on nooksleep.com qualified, continental US only, with the clock starting from purchase date or the baby's birthdate whichever was later, return shipping paid by Nook and a full refund, and you were told to keep the boxes for the whole 100 nights.
If I find a used Nook mattress, what should I check?
Confirm which cover it has, because a Basic Cover version carried only a 90-day warranty and no trial; check that the core still feels firm on the infant side and that the fire barrier is intact; confirm the 4 inch thickness and 28 x 53 inch footprint fits your crib; and understand that the natural pilling and glue coloring at the fire-barrier seams are cosmetic rather than defects, so they are not a valid bargaining chip or a warranty issue.
