The 30-second verdict
No for most buyers: the TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze®'s high price is the catch. Within Tempur-Pedic, Sleep Foundation names TEMPUR-Cloud Best Value at 7.6/10. For budget shoppers, Bear Original by Bear Mattress is a better fit, with a Queen price of $998.00 versus the TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze® Queen list price of $5,899.00. Tempur-Pedic says the LuxeBreeze feels up to 10° cooler. It comes in Soft, Firm, and Medium Hybrid feels. Rating: 4.475823405746321/5 Review count: 1,427. Buy it only if Tempur-Pedic's cooling claim is worth the Queen price to you.

Pros
Edge support. Sleep Advisor rated edge support 4/5 and found no sinking while lying down for a full minute.
Durability outlook. Mattress Clarity says it should last for at least 10 years, if not more.
No weight limit. Tempur-Pedic says this mattress has no weight limit.
Cons
Box spring limit. Tempur-Pedic lists box springs as incompatible; use a platform bed or Power Base instead.
Sitting edge sink. Sleep Advisor reports more sinking when sitting at the edge.
Low bounce. Mattress Clarity says the lack of bounce makes it very hard to move and change positions.
Break-in period. Tempur-Pedic says the mattress needs a few weeks to break in.
How firm is the TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze, and which firmness should you pick?
Pick Soft for a softer feel, Medium Hybrid for a medium feel, or Firm for a firmer feel. Mattress Clarity rated Medium Hybrid 6/10, while Sleepopolis rated its Medium hybrid 6.5 out of 10. Sleep Foundation rated Firm (7), while GoodBed rated the Firm option Very Firm (2).

Is the TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze right for your sleep position and body weight?
The TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze has its clearest position fit in the Firm option, which Sleep Foundation recommends for side sleepers over 130 lb and stomach sleepers across weight ranges. For sleepers over 230 lb, Sleep Foundation rates side fit 7.5/10, back fit 5.5/10, and stomach fit 5.0/10. Side fit is strongest of these three for that group. The lower back and stomach ratings may make this a weaker match if you sleep in either position. Sleep Foundation says Firm offers better support for back sleepers.
Tempur-Pedic says its mattresses have no weight limit, so body weight alone does not rule this bed out. SleepAdvisor rates edge support 4/5: it reports no sinking while lying down for a full minute, but more sinking while sitting at the edge. If you sit there often, expect less support in that posture.

Edge support, outside tester
SleepAdvisor: 4/5. No sinking lying down for a full minute; more sinking when sitting on the edge.
Neck: lying on your side, ask if your pillow and the bed keep your head in line with your spine.
Shoulders: ask if the shoulder under you settles in, or if you feel a pinch after a few minutes.
Back: lying face up, slide a hand under your waist. A big gap or no room at all is a sign of a poor match.
Hips: ask if your hips dip lower than your shoulders, like lying in a shallow bowl.
Four checks: lie still for a few minutes in the position you sleep in most, then notice how each spot feels. These are comfort checks, not a medical test.Sources (3)
The TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze may suit back sleepers with back pain, though that does not promise relief. Tempur-Pedic says it offers exceptional support for sleepers of all shapes and sizes. Sleepopolis reports good results for back and side sleepers with back pain, but not stomach sleepers.
For back support, the Medium Hybrid is the clearest fit. Mattress Clarity tested it and says its strong support suits back sleepers. It says this support helps keep the spine neutrally aligned. Sleep Advisor says the Hybrid should help back and side sleepers of any body type with back pain. Sleep Advisor says heavyweight stomach sleepers may find the Hybrid too soft, which could add to back pain.

Yawnder’s test, written by Ben Trapskin, recorded a surface temperature under 88°F in a 74°F bedroom for the full 60-minute test. NapLab measured a maximum surface temperature of 89.3°F. Use these readings as context, not a promise of how cool the mattress will feel in your room.
Tempur-Pedic lists a cool-to-the-touch SmartClimate® cover, a Heat-Diffusing Layer, Pure Cool® Plus Material, and Ventilated Advanced Relief® Material with ventilation for increased airflow. Tempur-Pedic says it feels up to 10° cooler. That is the brand’s claim.

You may feel less of your partner’s movement, but a light sleeper should not count on sleeping through every shift.
Sleep Advisor rates motion isolation 4 and bounce 3. GoodBed rates motion isolation Excellent (9) and bounce Low (3). NapLab describes motion transfer as very low and bounce as extremely low. Mattress Clarity gives motion transfer 5 and says almost no bounce can make changing positions hard. Sleep Doctor rates motion isolation 9.0/10 and says limited bounce may hinder movement and sex.
At a Queen list price of $5,899, the TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze is worth considering if you specifically want this model and the cost fits your budget. Value shoppers should compare the lower-priced TEMPUR-Cloud, which Sleep Foundation named Best Value and scored 7.6/10.

The TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze lists two named layers in top-to-bottom order.
Top: Pure Cool® Plus Material.
Next: Ventilated Advanced Relief® Material.
Only the Medium Hybrid has 1,300 double-stacked innerspring coils, so choose that version if this coil build matters; do not apply the count to other LuxeBreeze versions. The coils are springs stacked in two layers. For Queen, the listed weight range is 123-168 lbs, not one fixed handling weight. Arrange help for moving this heavy mattress, clear the route, and decide where it will sit before carrying it inside.
Layers: in the order the brand lists them. Layer order only, not to scale.
The top cover is a four-fiber fabric, and Tempur-Pedic says its foam is CertiPUR-US certified. The cover is 52% polyester, 46% polyethylene, 1% nylon, and 1% elastane. The certification is for foam, not the cover or the entire bed, so read it as a foam-only claim rather than a certification of every mattress material.
The TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze works with a platform bed or adjustable Power Base, but not a box spring, according to Tempur-Pedic. Use the compatibility list to narrow your purchase, then pick the option that fits your setup before you order the mattress.
How long will it last, and does it need flipping or rotating?
Mattress Clarity says the TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze should last at least 10 years, if not more; Tempur-Pedic says it has one sleeping side, so do not flip or rotate it.
Tempur-Pedic says it takes a few weeks to break in, so give it that time before judging its feel. GoodBed rates its durability Excellent (9), while The Sleep Doctor gives it 8.0/10. Treat those as durability scores, not lifespan estimates.
Tempur-Pedic says the TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze ships by White Glove delivery, with setup, packing removal, and old-mattress removal included. The wait is 7 to 10 business days. Delivery is free in the continental U.S.; Alaska, Hawaii, and remote areas have a $600 surcharge, so check your address before ordering.
Typical wait: 7 to 10 business days
How it ships: Tempur-Pedic White Glove in-home delivery service (select mattresses); UPS ground for TEMPUR-Cloud
Tempur-Pedic says the TEMPUR-LuxeBreeze trial lasts 90 nights, and its return fee is $175 (plus tax). If you might send it back, budget for that charge before ordering, and decide whether 90 nights is enough time for you to choose.

Tempur-Pedic says its 10-year warranty covers indentations deeper than 0.75 in, but a box spring, the floor, plywood, or a futon base voids coverage. Use an approved base; platform slats must be at least 3 inches wide and no more than 4 inches apart. Sag caused by a weak base is not covered. For beds bought on or after October 1, 2022, qualifying repairs and replacements are free, but you pay claim transport up to the brand’s standard freight rate.

Owners praise comfort, support, and cooling, while others report too much firmness, cooling that falls short, and a high price. TEMPUR-Pedic’s site lists 4.475823405746321 out of 5 stars from 1,427 reviews; Mattress Clarity reports 4.6 / 5. The first score comes from the brand’s own review page, so read it as feedback hosted by TEMPUR-Pedic.
Sleep Advisor says owners appreciate comfort, though some find the price too high. On TEMPUR-Pedic’s site, owners praise support and report lower-back pain going away. A Homemakers owner praised cooling and less morning back pain, while another said the mattress felt firmer than expected and aggravated back pain. A pcrichard.com owner with high body heat said cooling did not help enough; a GoodBed owner wished it cost less. Check your firmness and heat needs against these mixed reports before buying.
