Yes, if you live near New Bedford, Massachusetts and want factory-direct, two-sided flippable innerspring or all-natural latex beds you can try in person and have serviced locally. Econo Comfort covers kids, guest rooms, camps and cottages; Luxury Health Chiro and Posture target back and joint support; Luxury Comfort Platinum, Heavenly and Natural Sleep are the premium picks.

Comfort and firmness: which mattress fits you

Why this matters to you: Feel names are the brand's words, not measurements. Use them to shortlist two or three beds, then let your body decide.

Side sleepers wanting pressure relief: Luxury Comfort Heavenly or Platinum with all-natural latex padding, or a Pure Talalay Bliss Talalay latex bed. Back and stomach sleepers needing firm alignment: Luxury Health Chiro with its 713 AC innerspring and super lumbar support, or Posture in extra firm. Kids, guest rooms, dorms and rentals: Econo Comfort Value Series at $699 or the soy-foam Economy Series at $1,099.

Couples wanting movement isolation: Heavenly Series or an all-latex Natural Sleep model. Flippers who rotate for longevity: the two-sided Spinal, Posture, Chiro or Platinum. Odd sizes, boats and RVs: Custom Builds.

Camp and cottage use: Economy Series.

Which Worleybeds feel fits you?

Weight chart not yet researched

Weight and sleep position can change how a bed feels. We have not yet checked whether Worleybeds publishes a fit chart by body weight, so use a trial, where one is offered, to test the bed the way you sleep at home.

Four alignment checkpoints against a neutral posture line Neck Shoulders Lower back Hips level with spine sink in, no pinch no gap below no sag Straight spine line
  1. Neck: on your side, your nose should line up with the middle of your chest, not tip up or down.
  2. Shoulders: your bottom shoulder should sink in. Tingling or a numb arm means the bed is too firm for you.
  3. Lower back: on your back, slide a flat hand under your waist. A big gap means too firm; no room at all can mean too soft.
  4. Hips: ask someone to look from the side. Hips lower than shoulders means the bed is too soft for you.
Figure 2.1: Four checks to run in a store, lying still in the position you sleep in most. The store test in chapter 11 says how long to lie on each bed.

Mattress prices and value

Why this matters to you: A starting price can rise with size, base and delivery. Get the full price for your size in writing before you choose.

Published online prices as of Sept 2026: Easy Rest Soft $549 Twin, $599 Twin XL, $699 Full, $899 Queen, $1,099 King; Economy Series $1,099; Value Series $699; Spinal Series was $899 before its page was removed. Luxury Health, Luxury Comfort and Pure Talalay Bliss pricing is Not published as of Sept 2026 - quote only, in store.

Value argument: factory-direct manufacturing with no middleman markup, box springs sold as only a fraction of set price (the mattress is 75 to 85% of the set), and a printable coupon worth up to $100 off. Financing is available per GoodBed, which also lists Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and checks. Most of the range has no online checkout price, so real quotes need a call or visit.

Chapter 05

How well do the mattresses hold up?

Why this matters to you: A mattress is a long buy. Lean on the written warranty and real owner reports to judge how it will last.

Worleybeds argues durability comes from two-sided construction: padding both faces and flipping spreads wear, and the factory still hand-coils many box springs, so it expects its beds to outlast mass-produced no-flip models.

The FAQ says a mattress is designed to perform for the length of its warranty, that rotating the mattress evens out body impressions (normal in plusher beds), that a proper frame with center support prevents sagging, and that sitting or standing on the edge can bend border wiring, which is not covered. Buyers are told to reassess every few years and that 7 to 10 years is typical replacement age.

No published durability testing, foam-density specs or independent lab data found as of Sept 2026.

Sleep trials, returns, exchanges and fees

Why this matters to you: Feel is hard to judge in a store or in a week. Know your exit plan and its cost before you pay.

No sleep trial, return or exchange policy is published on the official site as of Sept 2026. GoodBed's Worleybeds retailer profile lists only a Comfort Guarantee under which mattresses can be exchanged. The FAQ confirms that transportation costs on warranty exchanges are paid by the customer and that soiled, stained or damaged bedding will not be exchanged.

Trial length, return window, restocking or pick-up fees, refund versus credit terms and exchange limits are Not published as of Sept 2026. Ask the store in person before buying.

Chapter 07

Delivery, setup and old-mattress removal

Why this matters to you: Delivery terms decide your first week with the bed. Confirm the date, setup and old-bed removal before you pay.

No formal published delivery page found as of Sept 2026. The FAQ refers to the brand's professional delivery staff moving your new mattress into the bedroom, warns never to bend a mattress or box spring through tight spaces, and notes king sets ship with split box springs, with split queen box springs also offered.

A customer testimonial published on the brand's own testimonials page states that Worley's delivered free, set the bed up and then took away the old mattress and box spring. GoodBed's retailer listing shows a single Massachusetts store, so delivery is effectively local or regional; exact fees, delivery radius, scheduling windows and whether old-mattress removal is always included or charged are Not published as of Sept 2026.

Typical wait: Not published

What do the warranties cover?

Why this matters to you: A warranty is only as good as its terms. Read the written terms and use a supported base, because the wrong frame can end coverage.

Not published in detail as of Sept 2026. The site's FAQ says all bedding warranties are provided by the manufacturer and directs buyers to the warranty card supplied with the bedding; no warranty length or coverage tiers appear anywhere on the site.

Known limits from the FAQ: stains are not covered, bent border wiring is not covered, soiled, stained or damaged bedding will not be exchanged, the customer pays transportation costs on all warranty exchanges, and defective-product claims are filed through the store with the manufacturer. The Pure Talalay Bliss page states only that its products come with a warranty. Warranty years for Worleybeds-brand mattresses: Not published as of Sept 2026.

  2. Lay a straight edge (a broom handle or long level) across the dip, resting on the flat parts.

Review counts checked on each site · they change daily

Customer reviews and complaints

Why this matters to you: Star ratings depend on who posts and where. Read the low-star reviews for patterns, not just the average.

Aggregated ratings: Birdeye shows 4.6 out of 5 from 113 reviews (90 five-star, 8 four-star, 6 three-star, 7 two-star, 2 one-star; 112 from Google, 1 from Superpages). Yelp lists 5.0 from 5 reviews. BBB: not BBB-accredited, A+ rating, 0 complaints and 0 customer reviews in its three-year reporting window.

Praise centres on knowledgeable staff (Patrick Worley is named), made-in-house quality, fair prices and free delivery and setup with old-bed removal; an Aug 2026 Google reviewer wrote that nothing can replace the service you get from a longstanding local business.

Complaints are few but real: the lowest-rated Google review (1 star, Feb 2023, Kelvin Medeiros) describes a bad delivery experience after paying cash, and a handful of 1 and 2 star ratings exist. No third-party mattress-lab review or long-term owner test of Worleybeds-brand beds found.

What are the mattresses made of?

Why this matters to you: Layer names say little without numbers. Ask what is inside your exact model, layer by layer.

Site-listed components: VertiCoil and 357 VertiCoil Edge innersprings; 713 AC Lura-Flex innerspring; 609 Body Print and Body Print Marshall innerspring units; Real Web-Lok (Real Web-loc) coil box springs with super lumbar support, many still coiled by hand; Zeroflex box spring system; all-natural latex foam rubber; soy-based polyurethane flexible foam, with the Economy Series using 100% open-cell soy-based polyurethane; 100% organic cotton flannel on the Natural Sleep collection; a standard foam encasement for edge support on Easy Rest Soft.

Talalay latex sold under the Pure Talalay Bliss name is Oeko-Tex Class I certified, made in Shelton, CT, and described as naturally mold, mildew and dust-mite resistant, antibacterial, antifungal and up to seven times more breathable than other latex or foam. Poly or visco-elastic foams appear only in Custom Builds.

Why this matters to you: Where you buy sets the price, the trial and who handles problems. Check the seller's terms, not just the brand's.

Chapter 12

Worleybeds vs. other mattress brands

Why this matters to you: A fair comparison needs the same facts for both beds. Line up price, trial and warranty for each one.

Worleybeds is a four-employee, family-owned independent maker (BBB file: founded 1954, president John L. Worley Jr.) rather than a national brand, so it competes on factory-direct pricing, local service and old-school construction instead of marketing budgets.

It still builds two-sided flippable mattresses and hand-coils many box springs at a time when most majors have moved to no-flip designs, and its history page says it refuses trends it views as fashion or planned obsolescence. Against bed-in-a-box brands it loses on sleep trials, free returns, nationwide shipping and published specifications, but wins on try-before-you-buy, custom sizes and repairability.

It also retails other lines: Pure Talalay Bliss latex, plus Tempur-Pedic and Gold Bond per the store's own listing, and Simmons along with Lane's, Schweiger and Benchcraft furniture per BBB.

More brand reviews to compare: Williams Co Mattress, Winndom, Wolf Mattress, Wright Bedding, Wyoming King Bed Company, Yaasa.

Competitor details reflect published prices and specs on the date shown. Mattress brands may update prices and trial terms over time.
Chapter 13

How we research and report

This page is an early draft built from our research sheet for Worleybeds. We read the brand's own pages and public listings, and we do not test mattresses ourselves. Fields marked "Not yet researched" are still being checked.

We started with the official site: the brand pages for Econo Comfort, Luxury Health, Luxury Comfort, Custom Builds and Pure Talalay Bliss, plus the manufacturing-process, history, FAQ, Why Buy a Set, testimonials, contact and shop and product pages,.

We then checked retailer and aggregator data including GoodBed's retailer profile for store policies, BBB for accreditation, rating, complaint and company data, Birdeye for aggregated review counts and Yelp for its rating, and read published customer reviews and complaints. Anything the brand does not publish (warranty years, sleep-trial terms, delivery fees) is labelled Not published as of Sept 2026 rather than estimated.

No independent lab data exists for this brand as of Sept 2026.
